We had the best time at this beautiful retreat. It was a very clean, organized and beautifully appointed dwelling. The hot tub and backyard were very private and well maintained. The house itself is very close to all shops and Main Street. We would definitely book this retreat again in the future.
We had a wonderful time at the Suite retreat. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was exactly as advertised. We would stay again and will suggest to our friends.
This is the perfect setup for a couple's getaway. The location was easy and quiet. The house was very clean and had a great layout. Was an overall wonderful experience.
Home was small, but perfect for a couple. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The bed was quite comfortable, there were multiple pillow and blanket options on the bed and in the closet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom is recently renovated, and the shower was nice. Would definitely stay again.
The house was as presented in the pictures. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was clean. There was easy access to the home. The home is in a great location. They could have added a couple more towels for a 4 night stay with 2 people- and there is no washer/dryer, no broom and the kitchen garbage can was bathroom size. The lights in the open concept were all on 1 switch - it would have been nice to have a lamp in the sitting area for early morning or late evening. The “couch” is a futon that was very uncomfortable- we stayed for 4 nights and were exhausted by the end of the week so we chose to spend our last afternoon to just watch football- it was not conducive to an afternoon/evening at the home.

Hi Kim, Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the home clean, comfortable, and well-located. We don’t advertise a washer/dryer in the listing, but we will pass along your feedback regarding the couch, the lighting, and kitchen setup to the owners for consideration. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!
This property is perfect for the romantic getaway . It is cozy and enchanting. If I had to make a recommendation
Remove lamp on side table
Leave a s’mores making basket for guests
Leave charcoal and lighter
More towels heavier bigger towels - Lots of men are tall
Instructions inside house for working hot tub
Perhaps kleenex,conditioner and q-tips
We loved it and look forward to returning
I loved the coziness of the space! It's a bit smaller but was perfect for just my partner and me for a couple of days. The location is great because it's close to everything but also in a quiet neighborhood. The decor and space was adorable as well. The no dishwasher thing is just good to know, if you're planning to cook a lot. We only cooked a little so it was manageable but worth a call out if you're having a lot of meals in. We loooved the back yard space. We had a small issue with the hot tub but the hosts were so responsive and considerate with a a resolution. All in all, highly recommend for a quick weekend getaway!
Vrbo drops the ball, by following through with my scheduled stay. After paying for my weekend stay, Vrbo never forwarded any property check-in and stay info. I had to call the property control agent and they sent me door entry and property info, to accommodate my stay. Vrbo outside agent saves the day!
The location and property are pretty great, but my only complaint is that the guest are responsible for sanitizing their own dishes, and the hot water at the sink doesn’t work. It the post COVID world, it seems a bit crazy that guests are responsible for not only cleaning the dishes but making sure they are safe. The space is super cute and cozy, otherwise.

Hi Mimi, per check-out instructions we do ask if guests can wash their own dirty dishes. Please know this has been something we ask of guests even before COVID. Housekeeping takes care of everything else and sanitizes/cleans the house. We have notified maintenance about the hot water in the kitchen sink, we will have this looked at. We appreciate this feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your overall stay! We hope to have you visit again. Thank you!
We loved the house and were in a great location. The only downfall was the ants falling from the ceiling in the living room. At first we thought it was just a freak thing when there was one on my husbands shirt while we were watching a movie. We kept finding a fine dust powder on the coffee table and couch and we knew it wasn’t crumbs because we didn’t eat in there. We had a friend over to visit and 3 ants fell on the table and we looked up and they were all on the ceiling going in and out of one of the beams. They were carpenter ants. I would say the couch is definitely not one for relaxing and watching movies. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Hi Randee, Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us! We're so glad you enjoyed the house and its location. We apologize for the issue you experienced with the ants and the dust. Please rest assured that we’ve since addressed both concerns. Our team has taken care of the ant situation and cleaned the affected areas to prevent any further dust from the AC ducts. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back for an even more relaxing stay in the future!
My husband and I stayed for his birthday weekend. We received clear check-in instructions ahead of time from the hosts via email. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. It looks to be recently remodeled and I enjoyed their design esthetic. The bed was very comfortable. We did not encounter any issues during our stay so there was no need to reach out to the hosts. While the location is close to Main Street, it was a farther walk to the specific things that we had planned than ideal so we did drive to our destinations. I'm not sure if January is considered the off season but we had no issues finding parking. We may have considered walking if parking was hard to find. As some reviewers stated, there is construction next door but they were not actively working during our stay so we did not encounter any noise. A few things that are not shown in the photos of the property that we wondered about prior to arrival. (1) there is not a TV in the bedroom. Not a big deal to us but something to note if you are used to falling asleep while watching TV. (2) The shower is nice and big with a rain shower head. Overall we had a wonderful time at this home and we would stay here again.

Uncomfortably pretty
The house was small and trendy. It looked cute from the pictures, but the stay was very uncomfortable. The couch was small and didn't have much of a back on it so sitting up and watching any television at night was a no go. The chairs in the kitchen weren't any better. The out side was pretty too, but we were over ran by the bugs. There were worms everywhere so we weren't able to sit outside. There is no privacy for the hottub, and no cover for the patio seating so we didn't get to sit outside. We are from Dallas so we are used to the heat, but maybe an umbrella over the chairs and fire pit would help with shade. Please spray the house and backyard. I can't express how much the bugs were a problem. Inside and outside the house. The bed is gross. The pillows were so so nasty that we had to go to the store and buy new pillows to sleep. We don't mind paying the money, but would have appreciated at least a decent bed.

Hi Alverita, we hope you enjoyed your overall stay. For the couch, this is the first time we have heard that it’s uncomfortable, but we will let owners know to maybe update the couch. It is a sleeper sofa as well and it’s small since the house only sleeps 4 guests. First time hearing that the kitchen dining room chairs are unforgettable, but we’ll let owners know as well. Hot tub has a wooden privacy fence. We don’t advertise backyard patio being covered. I will pass feedback to the owner about possibly getting an umbrella for the outdoor seating area. We have pest control scheduled quarterly. Not sure what kind of bugs, other than worms you saw during your stay. We had housekeeping check the mattress and we are not too sure what you mean by “gross”. We did a full inspection and didn’t find anything wrong with it, no stains or tears. As for the pillow, if you were not happy with the condition of them, we could have brought you new ones. We also did an inspection of them and some were flat, but they weren’t stained and torn. We will be replacing the pillows. We apologize if you felt uncomfortable in any way during your stay, you didn't reach out during your stay and we would have loved the opportunity to assist with some of these concerns if we were made aware. Thank you for the feedback.
This little house is a clean and a unique place. We enjoyed the little details including art and design aspects. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathtub was great for a soak and a good book, while the hot tub was a great escape outside. There are neighbors but fences ensure your privacy. There was construction next door, but we never encountered a problem with noise or anything since it was the weekend. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to main st. We really enjoyed our stay.
