Bear Mountain 2 Bedroom Rainforest View Vacation Home
Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space situated in beautiful Bear Mountain, Victoria 2 minutes to Langford and the highway. 2 bedrooms, one bath, large kitchen with kitchen island, quartz countertops throughout, dining area, living room, patio, rainforest backyard features outdoor dining and lounge backs onto a serene green belt. This is the perfect place to relax or work from home and it doesn't feel like you are working as you sit outside and enjoy the backyard from you laptop. It honestly won't feel that you are working from home at this vacation rental.
This home and property are stunning. Guests describe it as "Out of a magazine!" "You must be an interior designer?" No, but I just have a natural talent for interior design and staging. There is no property in Victoria as beautiful and as unique as mine. Most homes are cookie cutter style, but not our home.
We ask that all guests be respectful of the property. This is our personal residence that from time to time we vacation out. We recently had some minor damage and it's difficult to get trades people in do work. We greet all of our guests and conduct a 15-30 min condition inspection where we also answer any questions you might have. We ask that you return our home in the same condition it was given to you in. There are no self-check-ins.we great of all our guests personally and do a condition inspection walkthrough where we will show you how to use the amenities so your stay goes smoothly
This is my personal residence. During bookings, I lock off my bedroom door and lock off my kitchen cabinets that have my personal food in them and go to my Mom's house where I will stay during your stay. This home comes with a walkthrough and a Condition Inspection which will take about 30 min max. We do not allow self-checkins.
I have a very BEAUTIFUL property. A lot of money and time has gone into updating this home. We have spent close to $300,000 on renos throughout the entire property and I have invested a great deal of my time taking care of my property both inside and out and that really shows. We show our homes lot of love.
If you do not think you will be take very good to excellent care of my residence, then it's best to find another listing. I am early retired person. We are quiet people.
I have tenants downstairs. They are a wonderful Ukranian family. I have been very blessed to have such good people live in my suite. My tenants park on the left side of the driveway. You must park on the right side of driveway. My tenants are quiet. They go to bed early around 9 pm and wake up at 5:30 in morning and leave by 6 am to go to work 6 days a week. If me having tenants is an issue, then please find another listing.
2 bedrooms each has a desk/lamp/chair/dresser/closet, 1 bathroom, dining room, massive kitchen and living room. Both rooms have a 44 inch LG Smart TV. Remote is easy to use. Just press the power button on the remote. Please make sure all TVs are back to cable and not in SMART TV mode. Netflix is only on the living room TV as I am limited to only 2 TVs on my account.
We have a garden and greenhouse in the back which I have to water every 2 days. I usually come in the morning. Watering can only be done in the mornings or evenings and not afternoons as this will burn the plants.

My home must be returned in sane conditionit was given to guest in and returned damage free.My BRAND NEW hardwood entry floors downstairs are made of birch which is a soft wood. Heavy suitcases cannot be dragged across the floors and there will be suitcase lines imprinted into my soft hardwood. You can see I already have some from previous guest. Heavy suitcases need to be carried up. I can assist guests, but it is best to bring lighter suitcases. This home is not child friendly. We do not accept bookings from families with young children. This home is pet free, smoke/vape free and cannabis free strictly enforced. Do not book my property if you do these things. Sorry, but we have serious allergies and we hope you can understand that the smell is also very unpleasant. I hope my house rulesste listed on here.if not, please let me know. I am unable to add them from my phone. In a nutshell: be kind, respectful and take great care of my beautiful home and return in same condition damage free, quiet after 9:30 pm. Thank you!

I have been hosting for over 6 years. My home was designed to give guests a 5 star experience and I have achieved that. Many people have come through my home and not provided any reviews. This is because my home is far too beautiful and there has been a level of jealously that a person of colour could have possibly achieved this. It's May 30, 2025, and I'm finally sharing out loud my truth. Guess are surprised I am a coloured person. I'm East Indian, born and raised in Canada with modern values. I do find it very hurtful when guests tell me that my home is so beautiful and they really enjoyed their stay and don't even bother to leave a review. This is don't leave a review because they don't want to see me be successful. And I am done keeping this inside of me. As of today, I share my truth out loud. I have worked so incredibly hard all my life, working on farms as a young child of 6 years old picking berries with my parents, until my Dad finally bought his own farm. It was my Dad and Mom who instilled in me the value of hard work, and living life with honesty and integrity. I share my beautiful home with those guests who can accept me for the person that I am. I hope that instead of using me and living in my home, saying kind things to my face and texts, that your kind words also go to a kind and fair review. I don't own a 4 star home and I certainly didn't spend close to $300,000 in renos to get a 4 star review. This home is a 5 star home. It looks even more beautiful than the photos.
I have made huge sacrifices and short-termed out my beautiful home to help pay for the very expensive renovations. I ask that you be fair and respectful and leave a positive 5 star review for staying in a 5 star accommodations. If that is too much to as, then I think it is best to find other accommodations.

Location - Bear Mtn is one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Victoria. My home backs onto a lush greenbelt - BC Rainforest.
What makes this property unique
Backs on a lush greenbelt facing Vancouver Island's Rainforest located on BEAUTIFUL Bear Mountain. The property and home is stunning and very relaxing. Also, this home is so unique because God (Yashewa - Father of Jesus) told me to buy it. It comes with a beautiful LONG story. I am just so blessed that God looks out for me. Everyday I wake up thanking God for all of my blessings, not once, but multiple times a day. As a Christian Inso-Canadian, a follower of Jesus, I have glorified my home for God and for Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for the he died for our human sins. I walk with Jesus. I love my God and I love Jesus and I am so grateful they are both in my life.
