We were pleasantly surprised by how amazing this home was. It was spacious, and the decor was amazing. Our hosts were quick to respond to all my inquiries. The outdoor fireplace was an added bonus. We would love to stay here again if we return to Lake George.
This was our second summer stay in the Log Cabin and certainly wont be our last ! We improved our pizza oven making skills and it was a real highlight to our vacation. The house is oerfect for a family/friend vacation. Location can’t be beat and hosts are awesome. The outdoor soace was oerfect for the beautiful weather we were fortunate enough to have ! Highly recommend !

Lake George Weekend Getaway
This is a spacious log cabin with a cozy cottage vibe. The kids loved the camping vibe while the adults loved the convenience of a well equipped home.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was very comfortable and well maintained. My kids loved playing pool there. The location was central to Lake George Village. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. We would definitely stay here again.
The house and property are very well maintained, communication with the host was excellent. We had 5 adults 2 teenagers and an infant, plenty of room for everyone, plus the pool table and dart board and outdoor fireplace gave us plenty to do in the evenings.
House was great. Clean. spacious. close to town and great restaurants.
Only negatives are ( and not to be picky at all)
mattress covers do need to be washed as there were stains on them.
Dart board needs to be replaced...very used.
Hard to really shoot pool as the room is a bit small to accurately shoot your stick.
The house was perfect !
The location was perfect !
The house was clean as a whistle !
The owners were awesome !
We rent in LG every summer and this was our best house yet. Never wanted to leave ! Plenty of room, plenty of activity with pool table, dart board, outside space, and cozy adirondack feel. Comfy beds, great kitchen and supplies. We also stayed a few extra days with friends at the owners other location down the road…Country Cottages, which was fantastic !
The owners have a real feel for successful rental properties and making their guests comfortable. They totally get it !!!
We hope to be back next summer :)
This was our second trip to the Lake George area, and Paul's cabin fit the bill for our two families perfectly! The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of common areas for everyone to spread out. Everything was well stocked, including towels, pantry items, soaps, and cleaning supplies. The only recommendation I have for improvement is to replace or fix the squeaky beds in the upstairs bedrooms...they made a very loud noise every time someone moved in the bed. The beds themselves were comfortable, though. Paul was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend to friends traveling to this area, as well.
We had a wonderful time. The lodge was spacious for our large group and seeing it rained a lot we needed the space! We enjoyed darts and the pool table which could use some attention, along with the board games.
Bonnie was very responsive when we had a password issue with the wi-fi and was there in minutes when no propane for grill. I appreciate how responsive they were!
The beds are listed as queen but are full size. (I measured. Lol). This was not a big issue.
Unfortunately there was a lack of usable pans in the kitchen. Everything stuck and we spent a lot of time scrubbing. That again is an easy fix and not a deterrent.
Loved the idea of the pizza oven but we were not successful in the use. That is my issue and nothing to do with the owners. Study up if planning to use. There was a small grill outside that worked but the large built in grill, only half of it worked and the burners need to be replaced. It would have been helpful to have usage for cooking.
My real suggestion is to have a welcome book with instructions for the house and local favorite jaunts. It is helpful to have a tangible book to refer back to.
I would absolutely stay again and recommend to others!
Had a great time at the cabin. Kids were amazed by the size of the moose head, and our youngest kept saying "wow" at every turn. Very convenient to both Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. Thanks!
Whole process very easy. Communication with Paul was easy, also Spencer was easily contacted via cell if a problem(which we didn't have, but let him know that a chair had an issue)
The cabin was as wonderful as described. Beautifully rustic and charming. My family and I (6ppl) stayed a week and enjoyed the outdoor kitchen almost every night. The pool table, dart board, board games and card table enhanced our nights in. We did tour the town, hiked, visit the Fort, took a boat tour and shopped but the cabin offered so much entertainment and comfort we choose to spend most of our breakfasts & dinners there. Hosts Paul & son were attentive, kind and accommodating...can't ask for more. I would recommend this cabin!
Can't beat the living and gathering space for larger groups.
From booking, to the communication with owner/owner's son during a power outage we can't say thanks enough. Their attentiveness and ability to make accommodations till power came back on was much appreciated. As for the home: It was perfect for our family of 7 adults, a baby and our pet dog. We not only had enough private sleeping areas but great spaces to gather, play games and just hang together. We had so much fun out at the fire pit as well. Only recommendation would be to have a few more larger pans, maybe a griddle stocked in the kitchen. Small pans hard to cook for larger group. We'd stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks for sharing your home.
Paul and Son were very awesome with communication and promptly responding.
Beds are very uncomfortable. Love the 2 full baths, little mold in downstairs shower, could use some attention. With two families there is limited storage in fridge w no door shelving. A few broken items that could be replaced like chairs in kitchen chair in back kids game room. Overall good experience just think the property could use a good maintenance.
The house was great and we enjoyed the pool table and game room. We were really looking forward to using the chairs and fire pit outside, however, we realized that would have required a good bit of cleaning to do so, so we ended up skipping that. Other than that, only complaint we had was my husband and I were unable to sleep in the same bed together - all beds were full-sized, not queens.
This house was great! Large enough for all of us (four adults, two teens and a tween). The pool table room was loved by everyone in our group. Paul and his staff were super helpful and responsed quickly to all of our questions before and during our stay. Clean and well organized kitchen! Just a short ten minute drive to the town of Lake George. Thank you for a lovely vacation.
From start to finish amazing time and perfect location. Paul was helpful on the phone and I met his wife down the road at their other resort. We all had fun at the pool table, grill was great, plenty of room to get some down time! Everyone one loved the Moose Head “Big Daddy” great trip thanks !!!

Great House. Ok location
House is terrific for large family with teens. Location is on busy street, and set back from shared driveway with several other multi tenant houses.
This home is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. Paul, the owner, is very fast to respond to messages and the issue we asked about (slow draining sink and a door lock issue) was taken care of rapidly. We were there in 85-90 degree weather and the window air conditioners did a decent job of cooling the house. Because of the hot weather we didn’t get to use the lovely fire and pizza area. We loved the wall-to-wall sliding windowed dining room for our dinners, gathered around Big Daddy, the moose, in the air conditioned living room in the evening to chat and laugh before falling into bed exhausted from our day trips. If you are considering this home for a family with young kids be aware the bunk room is separated from the first floor master. It is at the back of the family room behind a solid steel door with a lock on it. Paul said he is going to be removing the lock from the door as we let him know our 6-year-old grandson and, during the 2nd lock-in, both our grandson and daughter, were locked inside. We were disappointed there was no lawn to play on and, being that the house and its close neighbors, are built on a steep hill, the only walk we could take was up a very steep paved road. That said, there are certainly plenty of places to go off the property to walk/hike, boat, sightsee, shop, etc.
the "driveway" was a little confusing to find...and that is the only real take away. Once you you get over that...everything else is as advertised. space allows for everyone to be gathered in one area, or if you need some quiet time, it is pretty easy to find a spot and not be disturbed. hope my travel plans allow me to stay here again sometime.
thanks!!!
