Pankow Holidays - your apartment in Berlin Pankow

The newly renovated apartment is located in the north of Berlin in a quiet, authentic and green residential area. You can expect a modern furnished and spacious apartment with 75 square meters and thus plenty of space for up to 5 people.

The apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed and each has its own bathroom. Between the two bedrooms is the open living, dining and cooking area with a fully equipped kitchen and access to a 30 sqm terrace. This forms the center and is an excellent meeting point for everyone. One of the two sofas in the living room with a lying area of 70x200 cm can be used as a fifth bed. An additional topper with a height of 5 cm is available for more comfort. Smoking in the apartment and bringing pets is not permitted.

Location:
The nearest tram station (M1) is about a minute away from the apartment. In just a few minutes, you can change to the popular Prenzlauer Berg with Mauerpark and Hackescher Markt near Berlin's Museum Island. The diverse nature of Brandenburg can be discovered out of town in a few minutes by car.

Fine place to stay in Berlin

My wife and I very much enjoyed staying here, in the Pankow neighborhood of Berlin. We were especially pleased with the neighborhood and the easy travel around Berlin with trams and buses -- especially trams. Very nice apartment all around.

Fabulous.

Week in Berlin

We had a lovely time in Stephan and Nathalies apartment. It has everything one could wish for, and it's clean, silent and tastefully decorated. Its location is perfect as well, near a good supermarket, restaurants and the M1 that takes you to the centre of Berlin. When we return to Berlin we will definitely try and stay in Pankow Holiday home again!

An oasis in a quiet part of Berlin

All of the superlative reviews of Stefan’s place are well deserved. The place was clean and accurately portrayed on the VRBO site. The place is quite north of central Berlin, but it was a welcoming place to settle in the late evening.

Great place for a holiday stay

Great place to stay. Nicely laid out for 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Owners were extremely nice and very helpful when we asked about transportation into the city and places to eat . Parking was great, right on the street in front of building. Convenient to public transportation. They had a map of the area on the wall and many pamphlets on things in the area which proved to be very useful. If I was in the area, I would stay there again.

Perfect 2 couple apartment

Quiet neighbourhood, just a 20 minute tram ride to downtown Berlin. We appreciated the local grocery store and restaurants nearby. The two bedroom 2 bathroom layout provided privacy for each couple and the common space and terrace provided lots of room and comfort. Thanks Stefan!

Excellent Residence in Quiet Neighborhood

Located in the northern neighborhood of Pankow, our stay in this quiet residential neighborhood was an overall excellent experience. Though not centrally located to major sites, the direct tram (M1) is just a couple blocks away. There is also a large REWE super market a five minute walk from the unit location, as well as several eateries. Excellent communication with our hosts. Great place for a small group or family. Two thumbs up!

Marvelous!

Roomy, cozy and very clean apartment in a nice quiet suburb of downtown Berlin.... about a 15 to 20 minute Uber or taxi ride to most of the Berlin attractions. There is a bus stop nearby but we were always running late and needed to take Ubers and taxis! The house has a few amenities which you will want to have the host Stephan explain... such as the oven that does double duty as a microwave and the same for the washing machine which also acts as a dryer. Multi-tasking appliances! The kitchen is well stocked with coffee and cooking utensils. There are also plenty of towels available and laundry detergent. Nearby is a very good restaurant about 5 blocks away called Fredrich's which serves amazing traditional German food as well a a grocery store that has a great selection of food and snacks. Additionally, there is a bar directly across the street if you crave a good German beer. The host Stephan lives in the apartment next door and is readily available to help answer any questions you may have. Thanks Stephan!

Lovely but distant

Immaculate, attractive and modern home. Airy and bright. Quiet. Split bedrooms for privacy. Lots of small extras like coffee and sanitary pads and a bit of laundry detergent. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo. Hosts present and super responsive. We would stay here again EXCEPT that earlier reviews mentioning 20 mins as transit time were not what we experienced. Using public transportation (which was good and reliable) we found our daily commute to center Berlin to take 45-50 mins. This wouldn’t keep us from staying again but it does mean that tourists are unlikely to come and go; plan on not returning until end of day. Grocery and a few restaurants 4 mins by foot. Restaurant Friedrich tasty but extraordinarily slow (30 mins until first drink order, addl 50 mins til meal); bc of this we would not return. There’s another place diagonal from Fredrick’s that’s an excellent option. Grocery is good; NOTE: closed sundays.

Great vacation apartment and location

We came for a one month stay to visit the Christmas markets and Berlin. We took an Uber from the airport. The apartment was very clean, on the 1st floor and well stocked. We cooked daily breakfast and some meals, kitchen had all we needed, and as a cook, this is important to us. The beds were very comfortable and there were 2 bathrooms, very convenient for 2 couples. Plenty of living space in a quiet neighborhood with 3 grocery stores in 8 minute walking distance. The tram which connected to buses and trains was a 6 minute walk that provided access to everything we needed and visited in Berlin and surrounding areas. We walked to local Christmas market at a palace. Restaurants are in walking distance. Our host recommended Athos and it was an outstanding local greek cuisine with huge portions and friendly staff. Our host communication was outstanding during the entire process and provided a binder with all the necessary information for visits, restaurants, shops and more. The fastest internet we have ever had at a VRBO. Even with a month, Berlin has so much to offer, we will be returning and highly recommend this VRBO to family and friends. Thank you Stephan for providing us an excellent apartment location to fulfill our every expectation for our vacation. See you next time!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in der wunderbaren und familienfreundlichen Wohnung von Stefan und Nathalie verbracht. Die Wohnung ist genial aufgeteilt fĂŒr 2 Familien. Und auch fĂŒr das 2,5 jĂ€hrige Kind haben die beiden alles bereitgestellt, was es benötigt. Die Lage ist super. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es mehrere fußlĂ€ufig entfernt und die Haltestellen zum ÖPNV sind ebenfalls in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einfach und zielfĂŒhrend. Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung war super, als wir ankamen und einparkten wurden wir vom Gastgeber schon erwartet. Er erklĂ€rte uns alles und gab uns Tipps fĂŒr den Aufenthalt in Berlin.
