My wife and I have been renting mountain cabins for 30 years. This was by far the nastiest, most run-down, smelly, dimly lit place, with kitchen tools no one would have bought- they had to come from a dumpster, as did the cheap pictures on the wall. My car barely made it up the driveway, avoiding the many deep, washed-out areas. The grill was so filthy I used a paper towel to lift the mildew-covered lid, only to find the grates too rusted to use.I was greatly concerned that we would lose our Prepayment and end up renting a hotel room. The office was very kind to us and found us a beautiful cabin to stay in, which we loved.

Very disappointed with the cabin overall. The dishes were put away dirty when we arrived and the dishwasher problem was mentioned in a May 2026 review, obviously it has not been addressed. It was also a very poorly stocked kitchen. Not enough silverware for our party of 3, all cooking pans are way past their use, dishes cracked, chipped, covered with a film etc. Lamps are broken or non- existent (front bedroom). Family room is very dark. We tried to play cards and couldn't see with the low lighting. Simple things that would cost nothing were also a hassle. Not a single hanger in the place? We arrived back each day with wet coats. Toilet in front room does not work properly, low flow kitchen sink a challenge, no scrub brush or sponge for dishes, no coffee filters. Direct TV mentioned in the binder, but no Direct TV. Very noisy at night, the refrigerator and spa run constantly. The driveway is also not maintained, rutted and muddy. It would be difficult for some cars to navigate.We rent homes about 2x a year and have never stayed in a property so poorly equipped. There must be better options in the area, choose with caution.

Fun 50th Anniversary

Big Plus: Cabin was clean and nice. Centrally located for easy access to sites. Small Negatives: Not much room to turn car around and no real long distance views. We would stay here again in the future.

The best stay we’ve had in the mountains!!!

The cabin was clean and nice. It accommodated our group perfectly. The hot tub and pool table were the best way to unwind and relax with friends. The beds were a little too firm for us, but a good night sleep was had. We also arrived at night and got a little turned around but we found it!

Quick trip to Helen

Property was in a good location. Plenty of privacy. Close to Helen. The only thing I wish they had done like they do at other properties is to turn the air down ahead of time. It was 85 inside when we got there. Made it a little warm unloading everything. We were able to turn it down and when we returned from dinner it was almost cool enough. Overall a nice stay.

The cabin itself was great! However the directions to the property were horrible! The address we were given did not match what was on the cabin! Never saw a street sign and the house number did not match the number we were given!

Nice Cabin/Good Value

Nice cabin, great location......privacy. Could use a little love in terms of replacing light bulbs that are out. Replacing lamps that have no switch and need to be plugged in and out to turn them off and on. Coffee pot and frying pan had to be cleaned before first use. Atmosphere with gas fireplace was nice for time with friends.
