Winter Escape
The owners were wonderful to communicate with and the home is open, comfy & clean! There are few options available when traveling with an elderly parent and dogs, and this house was perfect for us all! We come to the area every year, and this is absolutly a place I would rent again!!! Love love love it!

About the host

Host profile image
When Amanda and I met (many moons ago), we joked about running a bed-and-breakfast together. Well, semi-joked. We love to travel, and to share the experience of traveling with others. And after lots of wonderful experiences staying in homes during the pandemic, we decided it was time to have a place of our own to share. We'll look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We had a lot of memorable experiences during the pandemic traveling with another family. When we went looking for a home, we wanted it to be somewhere where two families, or a multi-generational family, or a group of friends could spend time together. There are so many places in and around the house to socialize - around the kitchen island, in the living room, by the fire in the great room, on the screened-in porch, around the fire pit on the patio - but lots of places to spread out when you need some quiet time.

What makes this property unique

The great room really made us fall in love with the house. 20' ceilings, lots of skylights and windows - it dares you to not want to sit and read a book in the sunshine or socialize by the fireplace at the end of the day.
