You'll be only half a block from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico when you escape to this two-bedroom condo on South Padre Island. This is a place to spend your mornings sunbathing and collecting seashells on the sand, and your afternoons cooling off in the outdoor pool on the grounds.
This condo sits on the second floor of Las Palmas Condominiums, just half a block up East Marlin Street from the sand and surf. The surrounding blocks are full of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, and bars, with the thrills and amusements of Gravity Park right across Padre Boulevard.
Inside, you'll be welcomed back from a day at the beach by central air conditioning, a washer/dryer for your swimsuits and beach towels, and a comfortable, casual living space. The well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open to each other, with a glass door leading outside to the balcony. There are TVs in the living room and both bedrooms for your evening entertainment, as well as a full bathroom paired with each bedroom.

I felt the pool was too far from us to enjoy! And that was ok! We didn’t have kids with us! The stairs need a railing! It was awful trying to hold onto the side going up and down! Bathrooms were too small also, but that can’t be changed and we got through it! But the stairs for older adults especially, needs hand rails.

Everything was great. The condo was really clean and well appointed. The property is a very short walk (less than 5 minutes to the beach). The neighbors that live in the complex were all very friendly as well. We look forward to coming back again.

Great location!
Very much enjoyed our first visit to South Padre Island. We were in the middle of it all and we're a quick walk to the beach, night life, shopping. It made it easy to navigate while still feeling cozy and homey. We had no issues with check in, place was clean and as described when booking. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
This condo was wonderful to stay at! I stayed with my two children (6 and 11) and it was comfortable and close to the beach. We had some friends staying at a condo closer to the beach, which was nice, but I much prefered our stay here. We got a view of the bay side (next to carnival like attractions), pretty palms and flowers, two bathrooms, full kitchen, and LAUNDRY! As a parent this was HUGE and honestly would do it the same way 10x over. It was an amazing stay!
You can't beat this location. Super close walk to multiple beach access points. Plus you're right in the heart of lots of restaurants and things to do. But only a short drive away from escaping it all and stragazing on the sand dunes! It's the perfect mix of everything I wanted to see in SPI!

Absolutely Amazing Stay!
My recent stay was nothing short of spectacular! The condo has everything you could ask for-- a modern, fully equipped kitchen (including washer & dryer), cozy dining area and living room (with very comfortable couches for movie-watching at night), and spacious bedrooms with incredibly comfortable beds.
The location is unbeatable! You're right in the heart of everything- your pick of the best restaurants, shops and entertainment are all just steps away. And the beach is a quick 5-minute walk from the front door!
I could not have asked for a better vacation! This condo truly felt like a home away from home, and I can't wait to come back! I absolutely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the best of South Padre Island!
We visited SPI and decided to stay in a condo instead of a hotel. The condo was great! It had everything we needed and more. The two bedrooms and separate bathrooms were great. The directions to the condo and use of amenities were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen was stocked with any tool/utensil that we needed. There were fun beach towels that we were able to use as well.
Beds were comfortable. Even was able to take a nice nap on the comfy couch.
The location is excellent! We walked to the beach to watch the sunrise (2 minute walk) and then walked to the bay to watch the sunset (5 minute walk). All the restaurants were also within walking distance.
We will be back!

Weekend stay
The condo was clean and updated, not decorated old fashioned. I did have some problems, there was low water pressure in the shower with one of them having none and no hot water. The other is the ac unit did not cool the place properly. It was between 77-81 degrees in the house the whole time.
