Most expensive 4 night stay

This was a nonrefundable booking for family tome help me celebrate the end of my 3-year residency as an Internal Medicine physician so I did everything the owner wanted but still ended up not receiving the additional $300 deposit he asked for the day prior to our stay. The booking required $119 insurance to cover the homeowner which is understandable. On the first day, I received a video indicating the home was cleaned and ready for me however on arrival quickly realized the video did not match the condition of the home, the home had a weird smell, and the floor and bedding were not cleaned however I was expected to wash all bedding and towels prior to vacating the residence. No problem I did that. Only to receive an email from the insurance carrier that the homeowner had filed a claim saying we left a sofa cushion dirty/stained. However, it wasn't until reached out about my deposit that he mentioned this, and has kept my deposit hostage until he "hears back from the insurance".
