Shiff Shack has everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay. It features 2 bedrooms, 2 full, updated bathrooms, a private loft area that sleeps 4, a dedicated work space in the stand up loft, updated kitchen and 4 season room with another dedicated workspace. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on the deck, sit by the firepit and make s'mores. This house sleeps 6 comfortably.

Guests will have access to 5 lakes, 2 beaches, marina with kayak/canoe rentals, private 9-hole golf course, 2 heated outdoor pools and kiddie pool, outdoor basketball/tennis/volleyball courts, playgrounds, ski slopes, snow tubing, ice skating, hiking trails, recreation center (indoor courts, game room, gym), building, mini golf, Club House restaurant and Tiki Bar.

****Please Note: This home is located in a secured, gated, private community. You will need to fill out a rental contract and agree to the community and house rules. Any violations will be subject to citations from the community and possible eviction from the property. It will be sent to you by our property manager upon booking. This will need to be completed within 72 hours of your arrival or the community will assess a $100 late fee that you will be responsible for. You may not exceed the max amount of people allowed and there are no more than 3 cars allowed in the driveway. No other guests can visit the lot while you are there. Items provided in the home to include games, appliances etc. are subject to change without notice.****

Easter break Getaway

My family of 5 and our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Shiff Shack over Easter break. The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. There is so much to do at the Hideout! We thoroughly enjoyed the 2.75 mile nature trail. My only feedback I would like to offer is to improve the lighting in the kitchen. There is plenty of natural light during the day, but it was very dim at night. We hope to visit the Shiff Shack again in the future!

Very nice property, tricky communication

This property is very nice. Everything was updated as shown and was very comfortable. The community overall was an enjoyable place to stay. I gave 5 on cleanliness but will note the coffee carafe was not cleaned (and very clearly had been used). All I will say about communication and check in is read every single word of every single communication, because for us not all the information was the same. Some information was omitted in some places, but was given in others.I did provide screen shots to the property manager to show this discrepancy so hopefully they will fix it for future guests.Finally, the guest passes that are in the rental that are needed to access the resort amenities said 2024, but I was later informed were good until end of March 2025. There's no information anywhere that I saw to explain this, so I'm not sure how guests are expected to know this.

Beautiful home with wonderful natural lighting. Lots of activities in the area and also great to just lounge around.
