Cute & Cozy riverfront home on Cane River just 5 miles
from historic downtown Natchitoches, LA. and 7 miles from NSU. Let us be your home away from home. Our beautiful home can accommodate up to 6 guests. This 2 bedroom 1 bath home comes fully furnished with everything you need for a getaway on the river, including towels, linens, fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer. The master bedroom faces the river with a queen size bed. Large deck overlooking the river is perfect for your morning coffee or evening cocktail! Kick back in the sunroom or on the deck and enjoy mesmerizing views of the beautiful Cane River, or try out some fishing. Some guests prefer to lay around enjoying the views while some prefer to explore! Boat launch is less than 1 mile away, plenty of shopping and local eateries only minutes away.
Come enjoy the peaceful serenity of the stunning Cane River. Mesmerizing views combined with the comfort of home make for an all-around relaxing stay. There's so much to do in Natchitoches! When you're ready to explore, we invite you to experience the charm of the original French colony in Louisiana, established in 1714 and well known as the film site of "Steel Magnolias". Downtown Natchitoches is just minutes away, where you can explore our Landmark Historic District with historic tours, museums, and year-round cultural events and festivals including the Cane River Creole National Historical Park at Oakland & Magnolia Plantations.
At the end of each day wind down with a cocktail on the deck. We invite you to come cuddle up in our cozy riverfront getaway.

Very clean, well stocked, nicely decorated house right on the banks of the Cane river. Beautiful views out the large sunroom windows and from the patio.

Quick getaway and Anniversary trip

Beautiful place. Very peaceful but not too far from town. I bet it would be fun in the summer with kids because there was a ladder on the deck for the river. The host always answered my questions quickly. It had everything you need for a restful vacay

Peaceful location with great river view

Great location on the Cane River, close to town. Neighbors close but quiet. Wi-Fi and cable tv. Everything worked. We liked the ceramic tile floors. Small issues: shower very small, no bathroom exhaust.

River Front Retreat!

Cute little place not too far from town! Within 10 minutes you can be at Walmart and downtown. Nice little dock to fish off of. Neighbors are pleasant. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. A/C is cold!. Bedding is nice. Would definitely stay again.

The Cottage was precious!! My daughters and I stayed the weekend for the Christmas festival. We had some friends staying downtown. The cottage was the perfect meeting place, we were able to cook and visit. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, towels, and bed lines. Only a 10 min drive to downtown. There was a dollar store and little store with groceries 2 mins away. We couldn't have had a better time.

Good Fishing with Some Issues

House was as advertised. Fishing was great. We caught over 70 bream. Only one garbage bag was supplied. The dishwasher was broken. The TV in the main bedroom was not working right. These issues would not be particularly important except for the fact that the rate was $275 a night. Otherwise, the location, views and fishing were very nice.

We enjoyed our stay.The house was so cozy,nice & very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Love the notes all around letting you know what & where everything was.
