Loved the fact that the property was just far enough from town that we got the secluded quiet of the mountains but close enough to town that we had all the conveniences. There were baby foxes that love le to play in the yard and the couch seat by the pellet stove had the best view. Wish we would’ve stayed longer.
What a wonderful, clean and renovated farmhouse! There are lots of games, blankets and ample kitchenware. The house is very spacious and well cared for. It was the perfect location to go watch our grandson play baseball at Cooperstown All Star Village. Thank you so much Steven!
We had a wonderful stay in this house! Steven was very easy to communicate with and very pleasant. The house was just as described, fresh and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great for our home cooked meals! The country side is beautiful as well, definitely recommend this property!
This charming country house has been renovated with excellent craftsmanship and tastefully decorated to be inviting and comfortable. Thank you to our wonderful hosts! We felt right at home.
This farmhouse is not only charming but also has all the modern and updated amenities and supplies we needed for our week-long stay. The setting is lovely with plenty of outdoor space for playing or relaxing. Furnishings/beds are super comfy and the decorating is perfection. We found may little touches that make this home a standout.
My boyfriend and I wanted to get away for family time during President's Day Weekend with our foster baby and pug. The cottage was charming, clean, spacious, and so well stocked. The property was fun to walk around.
We went to Hobart Book Village, Buck Hill Farm, and enjoyed some scenic drives. Everything was lovely with the fresh snow. We plan to be back soon!
We used this home to go back and forth to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The home was perfect it didn’t take us long to get there each day, and the drive was well worth all the animals and scenery. The home was perfect for all of us to have our own space and bathrooms, yet spend time together too. We enjoyed it so much, and Steven was so polite and kind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
The house was well equipped and very spacious. We never felt crowded. The extra touches that were included like some detergent and all the essential soaps was so convenient. The drive from Dreams park was a little longer then I expected but that was my misjudgment of location.
We traveled to upstate New York for Todd Helton's induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. I wasn't sure what to expect from the farmhouse. I was thrilled. Beautifully restored, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable.
It was a bit of a drive to Cooperstown, but the countryside is so pretty we didn't mind.
We stayed for a week because my son played baseball in Cooperstown. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed our scenic 35 minute drive to he ball field each day. If you’re stopping for groceries do that on the way in as there isn’t a store close by. We enjoyed this house and the owners were the sweetest and were right across the street if we needed anything.
We stayed three nights over New Year's weekend to spend time with friends and their youngster. In total, we had four adults, a 6 year old and two babies in the cottage. There was ample space for us (one baby had an entire bedroom for her pack n' play). We spent much of our time in the spacious living room with the wood pellet stove and smart tv. A very nice selection of board games and Legos was provided which the 6yo loved. The large area rug in the living room also provided space for the 9-12 month babies to crawl and play. The kitchen was well appointed with a gas stove, new appliances, and plenty of dishes which made cooking meals really easy. Overall, the cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully renovated/decorated - from the comfy sofa with cozy blankets to the exposed wood beams, rustic floors, and plentiful windows to let in the light (and watch the birdfeeders) - it was a huge win finding this gem! Steven and Doreen were also very easy to work with and even stopped by to show us how to use the wood pellet stove. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage if you're looking for somewhere cozy, comfortable, and clean!
