We enjoyed the pool and went in a few times. It was clean and although not heated was a very nice temperature. The house is about a 20-minute ride to Hammonasset Beach and several restaurants.The lounge chairs next to the pool had rips in the fabric so we dared not sit in them. The outside grill is missing most of the nobs to turn it on and it took a while to figure out how to use it.The mattresses were comfortable but a few problems with bedding - there were only Queen size sheets and the Master bedroom on the main floor has a King bed. The King bed is very high, so it is difficult to get down from. The Master bedroom also did not have a dresser and no lamp for the night table, only overhead ceiling light. The whole house could use a new set of sheets and lamps for the night tables.The stove and oven were very nice. The refrigerator was nice but needs shelfs for the door. The house could use more utensils such as cooking spoons and dish towels.The toaster did not work. There were mouse droppings in the pot draw.A new set of furniture is needed for the living room..

Cozy Thanksgiving Holiday

A perfect spot to meet up for our small family. Beautiful, well-appointed home and layout in a lovely wooded setting...close to towns and restaurants...great kitchen there too we used a little! Holiday greenery added a pretty and welcoming touch thanks to nicest hosts ever. Comfy living area and spacious bedrooms especially nice for the toddler with us. Highly recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. The house could use a little TLC on the inside (furniture dated and stairway going upstairs needs work) and outside (lawn mowing and landscaping). But the gem of the property was the pool. We used it every day (often multiple times the same day.) We will definitely consider returning to the property next year.

The host was nice and responsive. I was really disappointed with the condition of the house. It is poorly maintained, the pictures are not recent at all. The pool deck is falling apart and crumbling into the pool, the tiles of the pool are falling off and stacked near the side of the pool, both very hazardous. There are weeds as tall as some of the adults and moss all throughout the pool area. The pavers surrounding the pool are sinking in and someone before us used the house instructions to level the table outside, the rules and information is not all there. The pool lights don’t work, and the hot tub cover falling apart. One of the grills has no knobs, the other one is so disgusting that when tried to let some of it burn off and it only caught on fire. The air conditioners are feel of mold and the bedrooms smell damp and moldy. A lot of us woke up stuffy and feeling crappy in the morning. My sister and her family almost left after night one because she didn’t want her children sick, I convinced her to stay. The fridge needs to be replaced for sure and toaster. Washer and dryer are perfect. Does the house sleep 11, yes. Is there a pool and hot tub, yes. Definitely very disappointed in what we paid and thought we were getting, versus what we got. We made it work but we won’t be returning. Also, I did not complain to the host because nothing would change our stay, they really need to put a lot of work into it. The rest of the landscape, beautiful.

Great couple of days

We stayed 2 nights, the house was a nice size, very clean and had all the necessities. The only reason I am giving an overall rating of 4 stars is because the house was freezing, no matter if we raised the temp, it must be on a timer because it kept going back down to 55 and we couldn’t really use the pool table because the garage where it is located is also absolutely freezing. But that aside, close to restaurants and Clinton outlets which was great.

Family fun times!

The property was well equipped and had plenty of space and amenities for our group of 11, ages 22 months to 70 years. There appeared to be a water leak into the basement and the seal for the door to the downstairs shower stall was broken, but otherwise there were no maintenance issues. Communication with the host was seamless through the Vrbo website and the detailed house instruction/rules brochure.

Fall reunion

The home and location were fantastic, and communication with Mark was great- all questions answered promptly. Our only downside was not enough cutlery or plates and glasses for the large family that this home accommodates. Also only 2 dish towels and no hand towels for the bath rooms. Otherwise an amazing time was had by all, and the fire out and hot tub really added to the fun- thank you!!!!

Family trip

Pros: The owner very responsive and understanding. He quickly purchased a few items that were missing (vacuum, pot holders, working trash can). The pool is spacious, hot tub was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels for everyone. There was a great outdoor space with lots of room for kids to run and the fire pit was a nice feature. Lastly, we cooked every night and the kitchen tools we needed were all there. Cons: The house does fit 11 people but it's tight. The fridge was missing some shelves on the doors which made it hard to fit everything. It was also hard to fit food in the kitchen with the limited cabinet space so we kept everything on the server/bureau in the dining room. There was only one TV in the house and very slow internet. Some areas of the house are a bit run down (downstairs bathroom very outdated/not super functional, electrical/outlet issues twice, couches and pillows worn out and torn, garage game room not clean) and there were mouse droppings in many of the kitchen drawers.

Spend your days relaxing in the comfortable living room that houses a smart HD tv and Wifi allowing for streaming movies, with plush sofas. The room is adorned with soothing neutral tones, rustic modern furniture, and a large fireplace, creating the ideal gathering spot.

The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room and offers stainless steel appliances, a coffee machine, a toaster, a microwave, a popcorn and a Margarita machine. Prepare your favorite meals and drinks at home and enjoy them on the granite peninsula or the dining table.
