Welcome to "Murray Mill Ranch" — a serene, family-ready retreat built in 2022 and designed specifically for short-term stays. Nestled within walking distance of the historic Murray Mill site, this bright, modern home offers the peace of country living with shopping and conveniences just minutes away. Step into a vaulted, open-concept living area where the living room, dining space, and fully stocked kitchen flow together — ideal for family time and entertaining. The kitchen includes all cookware, dishes, and a grill for outdoor meals. A large back patio (accessible from the dining room and master) provides a private spot for morning coffee or an evening unwind. There is also a fire pit in backyard with 8 adirondack chairs.

Four comfortable bedrooms each feature their own 4K smart TV. The master suite includes a king bed, spacious ensuite, and walk-in closet. A kids’ room with bunk beds, board games, and DVD/Blu‑ray keeps little ones entertained. All beds use brand-new, high-quality mattresses, premium sheets, and plush pillows for restful nights.

Practical comforts include fast 400 Mbps Wi‑Fi, in‑unit washer/dryer with detergent and dryer sheets, iron and ironing board, and dozens of thoughtful amenities not typically found in short‑term rentals. We’re a small, locally run VRBO that prides itself on cleanliness, comfort, and family-friendly touches.

Great House in Catawba North Carolina

This is a great VRBO house! It was clean, well stocked, in a quiet, peaceful setting, and had a great yard for the dogs to exercise. The beds were extremely comfortable, bedrooms were quiet/private, and we also greatly appreciated having a washer and drier on the premises. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

Wonderful Stay

We had a marvelous time. The house was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The deck was comfortable and we spent most evenings there enjoying the weather, and our pup loved the big backyard. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. The kitchen had tons of space and all the amenities. Our host was great and responded very quickly to any inquiries we had before the trip. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we may very well return next year when our group gets back together.

Long but worth the read!!

A newly built, immensely clean, and incredibly spacious one story ranch! This house offers everything a large family (of 6 and a dog) dreams of! Our family is all adults, so looking for a large driveway to park all of our vehicles in was a huge plus! Super easy check-in and check-out/locking door while coming and going. In addition to the large backyard that was freshly cut for our dog to run around and enjoy, the open-design living room and kitchen was definitely a favorite! The kitchen table fits the whole family and all your platters of food. A full size refrigerator stored all of our large grocery hauls for the few days we stayed there. The big L leather couch is something we relaxed in every night while winding down with a movie. The large deck and patio furniture was great to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and breakfast on. All bedrooms were equipped with amazing mattresses and bed frames; all of high quality. And at the end of end day, the top notch shower heads went above and beyond to provide a legit shower, no rinky dinky light water pressure. In summary, this house went above and beyond of what we saw online. Located in such a quiet area, we will absolutely book here again!
