About this property

Strawberry Hill Farm close to Hudson, Stillwater and many great event locations

Welcome to comfort and relaxation! Exquisite rural setting in the river valley of the St Croix. Cozy up in this brand new barn apartment on our home property that is close to beautiful parks and trails and many attractions and also a half hour from the Twin Cities.
The space:
Designed with modern and well equipped spaces in mind, the entire second floor of the barn space is for our guests use including a full laundry room and fully equipped kitchen.
The Loft at Strawberry Hill provides its guests fresh towels, linens, and many other necessities such as dish soap, dishwasher/laundry tabs, shampoo etc.

Other things to note:
Balconies on both ends to enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Many trails for walking. Afton Alps resort and Afton State Park close by. Private fire pit on premises for our guests outdoor use. Great restaurants in quaint downtown Hudson 8 min. away and historic Stillwater only15 min. away.

We can sleep 6 comfortably or more depending on if the queen beds are shared. For sleeping accommodations we have the main "owners" bedroom with a queen bed, the secondary bedroom has 2 twin beds. In the living room, the sofa has a pull-out queen mattress made of quality memory foam and bedding. In addition to or if preferred, we also have a Queen size double high air mattress with built in pump and also a twin double high mattress with built in pump and all bedding. (Extra charge of $15 per night for more than 4 guests.)

Another wonderful stay at the Strawberry Hill Farm! This place is a little slice of heaven. The loft has everything you’d ever need and more. Abby and Jake have thought of everything. They are incredibly responsive and really go above and beyond for their guests. The loft itself is inviting, comfortable, and VERY clean. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait for my next stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The loft was immaculate and had everything you would need for your stay and then some. The hosts were very responsive. The property was very quiet and peaceful. The cats were an added bonus. Maple and Hazel were absolutely adorable. We loved being greeted by them going in and out of the loft. We can’t wait to come back again when it’s warmer so we can explore the property more.

The unit was so very welcoming and comfortable! We felt right at home immediately. The hosts were also very communicative and friendly. You can tell from every drawer filled with commonly forgotten trip essentials, and above-and-beyond amenities, (like slippers!) that they are genuinely happy to host and want you to enjoy your time. They have a heart for hospitality. We will be back for sure!

An absolutely gorgeous location! We enjoyed peace, quiet and comfort during our stay. The location is picturesque, quaint and perfectly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the metro area that is essentially a stone's throw away. If you're looking for a relaxing and comfortable environment with all the amenities of home, you'll be hard-pressed to surpass Strawberry Hill Farm.

Cozy and peaceful place to stay. Everything was well stocked from towels, kitchen to firewood. Very clean and host quick to respond. If you love country feel this is the place to stay. Still close to Stillwater and twin cities. We will be back next time in town.

This place looked just like the pictures. It was quiet, and I liked the River Birches right by the deck outside the bedrooms. The front deck had big patio doors and I very much enjoyed watching the horses do their horse thing from up there. The kitchen had enough stuff to do our cooking, and it was close to the cities and Stillwater. The house is in a lovely wooded area with surprisingly few mosquitoes! My friend and I will definatly be going back next year!

Perfect weekend in St.Croix River Valley!

Such a charming guest house! So comfortable and beautifully situated in a quiet street tucked behind the owners home, yet very quiet and private. Plus, the property has horses, outdoor fireplace and is overall just an idyllic scene.

Girls Weekend

Myself and a friend wanted a cozy place to have a girls weekend. This place was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. We were able to go into Hudson for dinner and also stay in the second night and just relax. The loft is perfectly decorated and has all the amenities you could want. Will definitely be back!!

We love the river valley area and the access to so many cities and attractions close by. We both grew up on the east side of MN and never want to leave!

What makes this property unique

If truly feels like you are way out in the country but without the long drive :) Quiet and serene. Nothing better than a cup of coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise. Its medicine!
