Welcome to Chateau La Mer II, a community located directly across from the Gulf of Mexico with 200 feet of deeded beach access. About a 7 min walk through complex and across the street, beach chairs are available for a fee. This quaint complex offers amenities such as a pool, tennis court, pickleball court, playground, grilling and picnic areas and clubhouse. Unit 1603 is the closest unit to the beach in Chateau La Mer II. This updated unit sleeps 6 comfortably with an open concept floor plan, a shiplap driftwood style wall in the Living Room. The primary bedroom boast a king bed and private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The Guest Bedroom offers two queen beds with a shared bathroom. Hard flooring throughout. A fully furnished kitchen with everything needed to cook a delightful meal in when not enjoying the area cuisine.

The host was very accommodating and helped us get in the unit. Even though the unit is a little older than some, it was perfect and comfortable for us! I will book with them again when we head back to Destin!

The condo was clean and had everything we need. The nice beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards were an added bonus. Close walk to the beach! The pictures of this condo on VRBO makes the beach look much further away than it actually is, which was close to being a deterrence from renting the condo. The walk to the beach was not bad.

Wonderful place for our family

This is a great place for a family of 6. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and had some space to themselves. We also loved that we were able to cook meals and enjoy them together at the condo. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Awesome place for a getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Chateau La Mer. It was very clean, and looked exactly like the photos. More than enough room for our family of 3. Quick walk to the private beach and easy access to restaurants and shopping!

Great place for small family and closeness to beach

Loved how spacious it is being a 2 bedroom. Dime can be small. It’s also very close to beach. From the front door to water, it was 800 steps and I have short legs!Pool was close also. It was our first time to the Destin area and I was blown away with the white sand and beautiful water. I could see to my feet the entire time!

Beautiful and clean

It was a absolutely awesome stay. The rooms were nice and clean. They had plenty of dishes and utensils to use for cooking inside the kitchen. TVs in every room, even gave us ample blankets and cleaning supplies. We really appreciate the time wspent here.

Everything was excellent, but the floor was covered in sand when you would walk on it. Its difficult to see, and I understand you are there by the ocean, but that was the only thing I found that potentially could be improved.

Awesome condo in a great location

We stayed at this condo with our in-laws and 3 year old son for a family wedding. The condo was clean with a nice large open space for family to gather and had a great location. It is within walking distance to the private beach (much closer than it looks in the photos) and right across from the pool and playground. The check in and out process was super easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice place

The condo itself was great! Not sure in the details if it mentioned that it was 2nd floor and the stairs were difficult with all our stuff, but all in all the condo was clean and updated. However, we never enjoyed the pool. Very outdated and not inviting.

Beautiful Condo

First let me say the beds were comfy! The condo looked just like the images. It was perfect for a family of 6, we invited my in-laws, and had our 2 children. The price was reasonable! Private beach access was nice, def a little walk, but better than looking for parking! I loved this condo.

Spring Break vacation

The kids and I stayed here for spring break. The description and pictures shown are up to date and accurate. The property was updated and had all the amenities we could ask for. The location was within walking distance to a private beach and close to the restaurants. Communication with the property manager was amazing, and the check-in process was seamless and easy. A Wonderful Stay at Chateau La Mer!

This condo was absolutely perfect! It’s centrally located in Destin where you can access both Miramar and Destin Beaches. The condo itself was located in a nice, quiet community with private beach access. The private beach was beautiful and not crowded at all, sometimes we had the beach to ourselves! The condo itself is extremely clean and spacious. All instructions were sent a week before our stay and were super detailed! The washer and dryer in the balcony patio closet was a great addition. The kitchen had everything you could think of with two cutlery sets, many pots, pans, and baking sheets. The beds themselves were super comfy and the rooms were bigger than expected. The bathrooms are spacious and plenty of towels were provided. The parking is right in front of the condo’s entrance and the private beach is a short 5 minute walk from the condo. Overall, this was a wonderful stay at Chateau Le Mer, I would recommend staying here, and we will be back!
