The Space:

Our newly-renovated cabin has all the comforts of home, just nestled away in the WV mountains. Linden Chalet is fun for couples, families, or groups of friends -- and is the perfect home base for your getaway! Beyond the cabin itself, the Hedgesville / Berkeley Springs area is great for so many reasons -- and Linden Chalet is just a short drive to everything. The town has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even has two breweries and a winery!



The cabin includes:

- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing

- Two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with bunk beds), plus a sleeping loft area with two queen beds

- A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling

- Fast, reliable WiFi that’s more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls

- AC to keep you comfortable when it’s warm

- Open main room with plenty of natural light

- Wood stove in the living room to cuddle up next to and relax when it’s chilly! (but don’t worry, we have electric heat too)

- Outdoor fire pit to wind down the evening with s’mores!

- An outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: corn hole, volleyball, soccer and kick balls, horseshoes, and many more!



Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!



During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:



- Indoor heated swimming pool

- Large whirlpool

- Tennis court

- Racquetball court

- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball

- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines



The Sports Center is members-only, but we’ve set aside complimentary guest passes just for you! Passes will be available at the property—check the house manual for details on where to find them. If you need more during your stay, simply reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!



Pet Policy:

We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to host cats.

Great family trip!

We had an amazing stay at your cabin! It was just what we were hoping for. The neighborhood is nicely spread out, giving the kids lots of space to roam and explore. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Communication with the host was excellent, and we really appreciated the guest passes to the sports center. We’d love to return again soon!

The property was just as described except photos and desciption included access to a nearby lake with a dock which was not the case, so that was disappointing since that was a morivator for this booking.

Very Cozy

The cabin is very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It is very cozy, but the pictures make it appear a bit bigger than it actually is inside. Otherwise, everything was as described, and we had a lovely time. The lake in the neighborhood does not allow dogs, and the two closest parks that do allow dogs are a 30-40 minute drive, so just be aware of that if you plan to bring dogs that enjoy the water.

Nice retreat Chalet

This was a nice weekend getaway for my spouse and friends. The only troubles that we had were could not get the grill to get any warmer than 150°. Also took me a while to figure out the TV although that was probably my issue. Due to heavy rain the day before we left we lost power for approximately six hours. Otherwise it was a nice relaxing weekend The representative had quick responses for any issue that I had. Very good job

R&R to a new level..almost heaven!!!

We had such a fantastic time at Linden Chalet. It's about 1.5 hours from our B'More burbs home. I could feel all my stress melting away as I saw the hills, grassy fields, & lack of population and hurriedness that usually exists in my life. Our Host Tony C was exceptional & responded immediately. WOW! Such fabulous service and I could tell through our conversations, he REALLY cares too. This was so important to me as I have a Psych degree and work one-to-one with many clients as a professional Ballroom & Latin dance teacher. When I am finally able to get away, I want/need quiet and no stimulus. I found HEAVEN here at Linden Chalet. Besides going to grocery shop in Berkley Springs, I stayed there and never left the house. I enjoyed the calm this home provided: the clean and perfect hot tub, the upstairs loft which I used as a private work space & study to read and do work, the large dining room table to eat and do puzzles and crafts, the living room to relax and watch tv. ALMOST HEAVEN indeed. The coffee mugs are so cool! I might have to buy some now. The huge kitchen sink allowed me so much room to cook & clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. I mean I needed nothing! It is all there! The beds are amazingly comfy and we passed out immediately and slept very well. Great hand soaps and cleaners by "everyone" may have to invest in these too. Having a new sponge waiting in the sink got high marks. We are planning a return trip as soon as we can. Thnx

Why they chose this property

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway, and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Linden Chalet in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
