Baker River Chalet was in a prime location for seeing fall leaves. Near both Lincoln and Franconia, with plenty of hikes and activities nearby. Cabin had plenty of space to spread out. Hope to stay again soon!
We loved our stay at the Baker River Chalet. Brad was an accommodating host, the house was clean, and the river was beautiful. This location was also great for accessing nearby hikes. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at the Baker River Chalet. The location couldn’t be beat, and everything was exactly as described. Check in couldn’t have been easier, and Brad was very helpful and communicative. Being right on Baker River was a huge bonus!
My family stayed here for a hunting trip up in Warren. The place was amazing. The wood stove was cozy and the sounds of the river were so nice to fall asleep to. Definitely recommend!
The house was so nice to come home to after being outside all day. It was warm and cozy. The fireplace is perfect. The couch and bed were incredibly comfortable and the house was stocked with everything you could ever need or want. I cannot wait to stay here again someday!

The property was beautiful, clean and quite comfortable. The sounds of the river were the perfect backdrop for a relaxing family vacation. I will miss sitting on the back porch rockers while enjoying the river view.
Beautiful cabin; many nice extras like a keurig with coffee, a whirlpool tub, fire pit in the back
Really enjoyed our stay; it was so nice to be able to bring our dog! Loved the back yard with fire pit on the river and listening to the soothing sound. The charcoal grill was a nice touch and appreciated being able to grill a steak. Had some difficulty getting on the wi fi- the password was a little different than we were originally told.m

Hi Robin, thank you for the wonderful review. I will confirm the password!
Beautiful dog-friendly cabin next to river and close to rock climbing at Rumney
Very clean, newly renovated, extremely well-appointed dog-friendly cabin, including multiple cooking appliances, tv and Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, and a wonderful gas/wood stove with no mess but with very warm and real flames. Beds were comfortable, firepit facing the river was very cozy, and wrap-around porch was inviting. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Host was very friendly and highly responsive. A wonderful place to stay!

Thank you for choosing our home on the river Marcia! It was a pleasure hosting you and we look forward to seeing you again. Please also check out the "Moosilauke Vista Lodge" for an equally pleasant stay in the White Mountains of NH!
Pros: It is a lovely cabin, nicely furnished, lots of towels, and quality linens. There is a little steam behind the cabin that makes it extra enjoyable when sitting by a camp fire in the evenings.
Cons: the bath/shower water smelled of sulfer (did not notice this in kitchen, cabin located right by the road, extra $300 administrative fee tacked on to daily fee.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay at our cabin. We're glad to hear that you found our cabin lovely with nice furnishings, plenty of towels, and quality linens. The river behind the cabin does indeed add to the peaceful ambiance, especially during campfire evenings.
We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the sulfur smell in the bath/shower water. We will investigate this matter promptly to ensure it is addressed for future guests. Regarding the location near the road, the house is on an acre of land and sits well off the road. We understand this can impact the experience for some guests and appreciate your feedback on this.
Regarding the administrative fee issue you mentioned, we want to clarify that there is no $300 administrative fee tacked onto the daily rate. We strive for transparency in our pricing and regret any confusion this may have caused. If there was an error or misunderstanding regarding the fees, we would like to rectify it and ensure our listing accurately reflects all costs.
Thank you once again for your review and for bringing these matters to our attention. We hope you enjoyed your overall stay and would love to host you again in the future.
The chalet is very quaint and inviting. The photos are very accurate - pretty river, the furniture in the house is nice and the kitchen was spacious and easy to work in. It’s very close to Rumney for world class rock climbing. Great, secluded hikes nearby which was especially great for our dogs. Lots to do and see in nearby towns. There was a music festival in town that we weren’t able to attend but if we knew about it, would’ve been cool. Check out the Melody Farm website to see what live music might be scheduled. The only issue for us is that the house is right off a busy road which wasn’t ideal for our dogs (they are skittish around road noise). Also so many Trump signs around town, which is a bit disconcerting for us NY’ers. It’s a very tiny town but we still found it charming and the people we met to be very friendly.
The Baker River Chalet is a wonderful cabin to spend time with friends and family. Comfortable furniture. Super clean place. New kitchen all kitted out. We spent time hiking, reading, hanging out and listening to the river. Peaceful getaway that we will return to if we’re up in Warren again.
