It was clean and cozy. Beds were a little too firm. Home could use better insulation and soundproofing. Not really walkable as no sidewalks and dark. Would have preferred a little closer to downtown area. Check in and check out were very easy.

Engagement Get Away

We stayed here for a marriage proposal during night of lights. Home was fair priced and great location right outside the city to avoid giant crowds. I feel the beds/couch was a little uncomfortable and the yard could have used a little maintenance. House was beautiful and cozy. A real historic home with high vaulted ceilings and a giant kitchen window. Enjoyed our stay thank you!

Can’t Say Enough Good Things!

Property was accurately described and an incredible value. Location was central and convenient. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and adequately stocked. As part of an honest review I will mention that the grass needed to be cut and if you aren’t a fan of roosters crowing this may not be the neighborhood for you. But, personally, I loved this property and absolutely would stay there again!

Very tidy, clean. Musty smell. There were five adults and only 4 wash clothes and bath towels, requiring a Walmart run shortly after arrival.

Smelled very musky, pull out sofa was broken, couple had to sleep on sofa. Didn’t let us in 2 hrs early without paying 60. Did not answer phone or emails sent. Not enough towels for two day stay. Just had enough toilet paper for stay if we stayed an extra day there wouldn’t be enough. Moths flying around in front bedroom. Yard was not well maintained.
Sofa bed broken, top would not lock in so it kept falling down.

The pull out sofa was repaired within 24 hours of the issue being reported to our Guest Services Team. The concern regarding the smell and the yard upkeep has been addressed. We provide a limited starter supply of paper products to get our guests through their first 24 hours. We recommend purchasing additional items for your convenience. Our guest portal is always sent to all our guests 14 days before check in, as this provides all the details for the stay and what we offer in our units. Let me start by saying the pictures in your ad need to be updated. The property is not very well kept on the outside, grass needed cut and outside of house could use washed. Inside of the house is cute but had an odor that we felt could have been a moldy smell. I reported to the Distinctive Beach rental group and was told a work order would be made and someone would check it out. We never heard another word. We were staying 2 weeks and didn’t want to end up sick if it were mold. Also after the hurricane blew thru I messaged the DBR group that the yard had a lot of debris around and it was still there one week later when we left. If you are a short person good luck getting any dishes as the cabinet in the kitchen is extremely high and hard to reach unless you stand in a chair. Beds were comfortable and linens nice. The closeness to St Augustine is good. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.
