This cute studio cottage is nestled on the mountainside just above Kona, in a cute little art town called Holualoa. Escape the hustle of Kona and retreat in nature with mature fruit trees, fresh eggs from our hens, and lush foliage. This is a true local experience for those who want more than just a hotel.. we also provide beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella to use during your stay. This ohana is attached to the garage and has a private entrance and porch to enjoy the sunset and your morning coffee. Art galleries, cute Cafes, and shops are within walking distance if you’re are active and don’t mind climbing a steep hill.

I am a singer-songwriter, originally from Maine, grew up in the Dominican Republic, went to Berklee College of Music in Boston and Belmont University in Nashville, and ended up falling in love wiith Hawaii in 2013. I love camping, yoga, outdoor adventures and traveling! Which is why I love sharing this space with fellow travelers and making it feel like a cozy home away from home!

Why they chose this property

This little mountain town stole my heart with its cute art galleries, yummy cafe's, lush gardens, farms, coffee plantations and quaint Aloha vibe. Our home is the perfect escape from the heat and hustle of Kona-town, and only 15 minutes away from the shore. It is one of the most desirable areas to live on this side of the island, and we feel very lucky to be here!

What makes this property unique

It's a true local experience, complete with fresh eggs from our hens and fruit from the yard when in season. Many repeat guests have called this their favorite Airbnb and the best sleep they've gotten away from home.
