Relax in our private vacation home! Our Rockaway Beach vacation rental has a partial ocean view and is just a few steps across the street to the sand! This house has been owned by our family for over 40 years. The ranch style house has been recently updated with a new kitchen, fresh carpet and paint, new sofa with recliners, and recently updated bath. The house is comfortable and well-maintained. We have a big living room with 2 couches and a large-screen TV which has Spectrum cable and the home now has WiFi. Enjoy the oceanview while eating at the large dining table. The house will comfortably hold 6 people. We have 2 bedrooms: each with a queen bed and a twin. We also have 2 twin roll-away beds in storage closets in the living room. The kitchen has been newly remodeled with a DISHWASHER, garbage disposal and real vent/fan over the stove! The house also has a laundry room with washer & dryer. The deck wraps around the front of the house, side and half the back. There is a Weber kettle BBQ. Restrictions are no smoking, no pets. Rockaway Beach is a quick drive from Portland and a quiet town with ice cream & candy shops, restaurants, antique shops and a lake nearby to take your family trout fishing.

Great location and good value

Rockaway Beach is a wonderful beach town. Everything is walkable from the house. It was a great home-base for day trips to Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Pacific City as well.

Nice place to stay

We had a large family reunion in Rockaway and this house was used by 3 adults. Spacious, clean, peekaboo view of ocean. 1/2 block to beach. I'd definitely rent this place again.

The home was super clean upon arrival, a lovely thing to walk into. Access to the beach is wonderful. You know it's family friendly when they have stools for the littles to use in the bathroom! Our kids loved the game closet. We had a lovely stay and will likely do it again!

Great place for small family

This is the 6th or 7th time I've rented the McGuire house. Keep returning because this house is very affordable, always clean, walking distance to the beach and town, well-stocked, and Rockaway is a great location for daytrips north or south. Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Tillamook, Lincoln City all an hour or less drive.

Nice Last-Minute Getaway!

Very nice place in a nice location. Centrally located so that we could just walk to most everything in town and just a very short walk to the beach. It was conveniently located to everything we would need yet somehow still felt like a private getaway - I think because of the way it's situated on the street, up a little above the road. House was cozy and nicely appointed. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful house and location!

Very cozy house right in Rockaway Beach. The beach is only a few feet away, and you can walk into town for food and shopping. Dollar General across the street had a good selection of snacks. My family was very comfortable at the house. For those staying, I also recommend driving fifteen minutes north to Oswald West State Park. There you can take a short walk through the woods to a beautiful, secluded cove. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and home to stay here again in the future.

Best Place Ever!!!

This rental had it all!!! It was clean, well stocked, had a great view, and the beds were all very comfortable. My sisters and I came for our annual sister trip and very much enjoyed our time at the house. The TV and internet also were perfect- absolutely no issues at all!! We all highly recommend this rental - and admittedly, we all all kind of picky! Lastly, communication with the owner was great and checking in was easy as can be.

Great Location

This is a comfortable little home, steps from the ocean. We visited/hiked all points from Seaside to Tillamook, with this home being easy travel to and from. Inventory in the kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. The Northern Oregon Coast is Beautiful. Staying in a comfortable home makes it nice to come back after long days out and about. Teresa responds promptly to texts.

Perfect Oregon Coast Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy beach house -- as others have noted, it truly did have everything we needed for our stay, from cooking supplies to extra towels to a closet with beach toys and small toys for the kids. The Wifi and cable TV worked with no problems at all. The house is steps to beach access as well as the main drag with shops and restaurants, so very convenient. You can also easily walk to the boarding spot for the Rockaway-Garibaldo steam engine train, which is really fun for the kids (book in advance online). All in all, you probably can't get a better value for your stay on the coast than this lovely cottage!

The property is in a fantastic location. The beach is accessible in either direction. The house has a nice activity/game closet for kids and they also provided cable TV. All of the best spots in Rockaway Beach are walkable from this location as well. The kitchen was outfitted nicely and the washer/dryer worked well. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay there again.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing vacation this past week! Thank you for providing a clean, cozy, and welcoming home for our stay! We watched the sunset from the front window each evening and took advantage of the easy beach access to either side of the house! The home was well stocked and had all we needed! This place was so perfect for us! Great location, excellent communication and info from property owner, and so comfortable! The house was so equipped with everything we could have needed that it got to be a joke "I bet they have toothpicks, scissors, griddle, etc. "! Everything was very clean (bedding, couches, floors). Cannot say good enough about this place, we loved our stay!

Rockaway Beach Dream

Another great stay at Teresa’s beach house - my 8th I believe. She got a new fridge since last years stay and it works great. As usual, everything about the rental is exactly as described on line. Took Teresa’s advice and had lunch one day at Riverside Fish & Chips in Nehalem - really good stuff. And if you like smoked fish, check out Neahkahnie Smokehouse in Wheeler. Fabulous stuff including smoked Black Cod.
