The house was as advertised and suited exactly what we needed. Was three miles from the venue where our daughter was getting married. We had a bass boat with us and there was plenty of parking for it and two vehicles.
5 star property. 5 star experience. Property as described, clean, and perfect for our needs. Management company quick to respond and very helpful. Will be staying again!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Homeplace. It was spacious, convenient, clean, and peaceful. I especially enjoyed walking all over the beautiful property. It was the perfect place to rest, yet be close to shopping and restaurants. I hope to return someday soon. I highly recommend staying there if you are in the area.

Property was even more beautiful and accommodating than described. Clean, spacious, beautiful decorated and supplied with everything you could need. Easy access to major roads but quiet and secluded. I would hope to be able to stay here on future trips, easily accommodating for families with children as well. Owner responded quickly to any questions.
The Homeplace was a beautiful home. Loved the antiques and the warm and cozy feeling. The pictures were spot on. Wish we could have stayed longer. The owners were informative and always responded quickly. I definitely recommend the Homeplace and would stay again if in the area.

Thank you for the kind review! So glad you were able to enjoy the surroundings. Please come again any time!
We attended a wedding at Mallard's Croft which was just up the road from The Homeplace. The wedding was an all-weekend event and The Homeplace was the perfect place for the family to gather comfortably between events. All ages were present, the property was safe and comfortable for children while the adults were able to relax and enjoy. Kitchen was well stocked with serving items and plenty of dishes/cups, fridge was ample and the outdoor toys came in very handy. Great night hanging out at the firepit!

We enjoyed hosting you, Mary, and are thrilled to hear that your whole family enjoyed the Homeplace! It really is a great gathering place and an easy drive to area attractions.
Very nice property, with easy drives to the Memphis area, and Oxford MS. Go Ole Miss. The property has been nicely refurbished providing everything a family would need. We explored the property, seeing numerous deer. The property owners were very helpful in answering questions that came up during the stay. I would recommend the property.

Spacious yet warm and intimate. Plenty of privacy for all due to unique design of the living spaces. Each and every room was inviting! I loved the authentic musical decor running through, nice touch! Everything was clean and functional, very well-appointed! Kitchen, laundry room, bedrooms and bathrooms were beyond expectations. We enjoyed the large backyard and the easy, convenient driveway. All the comfort of home! Ideal location in proximity to local family whom we were there to spend Thanksgiving holiday with. The home was a great retreat!

We stayed at The Home Place for 4 nights in February 2024. Lucked out on great weather. Thoroughly enjoyed our break from winter in Wisconsin. The house is as described. Loved the peaceful quiet rural setting. A beautiful old house with hardwood floors, vintage metal door knobs, beautiful modern kitchen, plenty of room to spread out for individual quiet time. We ate all our meals and had great conversations at the beautiful dining room table. Got in a boisterous game of Corn Hole one afternoon. We enjoyed our time at The Home Place.

Thanks for that feedback, Penny! We're happy you enjoyed the home and the setting, we enjoyed hosting you and hope you come back!
Good space for the family. We only had 2 cars there but there was plentiful parking. The house could use a deep scrub - there were dead bugs, dirty dishes in the cupboards and the refrigerator had old food stains in it. Overall, charming space but there really is only 2 bedrooms, third one with rickety bunk beds not good for adults so the other 2 had to sleep in built in bunks in family room - somewhat shallow. House had a very musty smell - water in the crawl? It stayed with us the 4 days we were there and it was unpleasant. All the outdoor chairs were broken so we couldn't use the fire pit. Thank you.

We had a great stay very peaceful and convenient location. Will recommend others in the area to check the place out for a weekend stay. Unfortunately we were not able to use the let out couch and a small malfunction with the main shower door. The highlight of the stay for the kiddos was the frog in the shower.
