Nice condo in the woods.

Nice community vibe in Sea Colony, walkable to ocean. Great place if you're into tennis or pickleball, but lots of other activities. Nice tram system, but we rented bikes (next to the check-in office - they close at 5pm) and biked everywhere. You need to bring your own linen & towels, but you know that up front. Owner was accommodating. I wanted to extend the original stay a few days & she made it happen. Would stay there again.

Overall good with a bit of miscommunication

Our friends were going to the SeaColony and we decided to join them late. The condo came mostly as advertised in the photos, except we had a miscommunication around the no sheets, towels, or basic amenities (e.g. toilet paper). After a quick check-in with the owners, they graciously agreed to reimburse us a bit to cover these costs. If you're thinking about staying here, please arrange to have your own king size sheets (we don't own a king size bed at some but maybe you can rent them?) and sheets for the other (twin?) beds. We were also first time renters in the SeaColony and didn't realize until after we booked that there's a weekly fee of $50/person. The condo is completely fine. Fridge, washer/dryer, beds, showers all worked well. The location is nice in terms of being near a pool and closer to the beach than some of the other properties, but still walkable to tennis courts. The owners were very responsive, patient, and understanding.

Property was exactly as described and more. Close to all that Sea Colony has to offer and Alyssa was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful Sea Colony Condo!

The condo was perfect for our little family! Everything worked great - AC, appliances, electronics, etc. so we were comfortable and entertained. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans so we could happily cook meals at home. The location in Sea Colony is PERFECT. Never any trouble parking, could walk to the shops, to the Tennis Center and pickle ball courts, and a pool was almost right across the street. Loved the quiet and shade of the back porch. Beds and furniture were also super comfortable and good quality. Overall - really happy and impressed. Just a few little hints that aren’t clear in the listing - linens are not included- so expect to bring everything you need (including bath mats, dish towels, hand towels, sheets, etc) also expect to supply toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, all the basics - none were there when we arrived except two rolls of TP. Could also really benefit from an indoor broom or swiffer. All the same, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We love hosting guests to visit Bethany as we hope you treasure this hidden gem with family and friends as much as we do. We love to swim in the ocean, watch the gorgeous sunsets, bike ride, eat crabs and visit the neighboring beach towns. This is our Happy Place! We hope it makes you happy too!

Why they chose this property

This quiet side of Sea Colony is both bustling and restorative with its pristine, wooded bike trails; tennis/pickle ball/bocce courts and condos nestled in the Delaware woods. Farmers Markets, coffee shops and great restaurants are all within walking distance. The beach is an 11 minute walk making this best-of-both-worlds location a sanctuary for the soul.

What makes this property unique

Our property is style is French Country with updated granite in the kitchen and newly updated bathrooms. We face the woods which make this restful and private for family and friends after a say in the sun! We love easy access to the tennis facility; shopping; restaurants and the beach.
