Welcome to Big Tree Cottages on St. Charles Bay!

Enjoy your stay in this coastal studio that sleeps two.

You will have an adventure fishing from the 500' shared pier. At the end of the pier, there is an 800 sq. ft T-head. There is a fish cleaning station so you can prepare your catch for the evening's dinner.

The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, small cooktop, microwave, and coffee maker.

The entire cottage is decorated with a tranquil palette that creates the perfect setting for relaxation. This studio has a king-sized bed and a loveseat in the living area with a flat panel television. The bathroom features an upgraded countertop and a custom tiled walk-in shower.

These cottages are across the street from the Lamar public boat ramp making it the perfect spot for a fishing vacation. You are also only a short drive away from Goose Island State Park where you can enjoy fishing and bird watching. This is also the location of the Big Tree which was named the State Champion Coastal Live Oak in 1966 and although it no longer holds the title it is still one of the biggest Live Oak trees in Texas. You are also near the Copano Causeway wade fishing area and boat ramp. Lamar also has great places to eat like Pop's Tavern and Cafe where you can order delicious steaks, seafood, and burgers.

Awesome little bay cottage

Five stars for everything! Excellent modern interiors, exceptionally clean, big TV, awesome location. Check out the Big Tree pier for some great bay fishing at night!

Great experience

We had a great stay here. Everything was exactly as we expected and the process of getting there and getting into the room was easy as could be. There was also access to a pier that had beautiful views. Will be back!

Perfect little setup for us and a nice pier to fish offNice split system for cool and heatThings to consider while staying here: Very Limited Supplies[We always bring extra stuff like this anyways just incase] - One extra toilet paper *septic tank approved* - Bring extra towels and dishwashing towels - Bring dawn soap and any other cleaning products - Bring extra bags for trash - Bring you a few knives and cutting board for cooking (Provided ones have rust spots on them and not usable) - Bring Keurig Pods - Charcoal for the grill - Lastly, tweezers for the stickers in the yardEverything else was good and great communication with the office.

We are senior citizens and the raised bed was a problem.

We are senior citizens and the raised bed was a problem. We loved the property. Fishing pier was sturdy, plenty of fishing lights, electricity and water at cleaning station was great. Sturdy hand rails on each side of long pier was excellent. AC was very good! Excellent, very easy to talk to.
