Additional info:
Our internet is generally reliable. I would say it is 98% reliable. Works great for Roku TVs, zoom meetings and everything we’ve tried it for so far. I also, have T-mobile cell phone service and get 5g full signal with no problem throughout the home. I am told Verizon works well also. There is also WIFI calling available via internet, if your phone is capable. The main-level fan remotes are labeled North(Kitchen side) and South(front entry side). TVs will ask you for Guest login, set date of your departure and it will log you out.

The home is on a spring-fed water supply, there is filtered water on the refrigerator door and a brita filter inside the refrigerator. We drink and enjoy the water, it has been tested and it has a clean and pure taste, also makes amazing coffee. That being said, if you have any concerns, please bring your own bottled water for drinking.

The home is on a private road. GPS should take you right to the home's driveway. The road is paved near the bottom and becomes gravel/dirt as it winds up the mountain. Please travel at a safe speed and be prepared if an oncoming vehicle is encountered. There are water breaks across the road, which also act as reminders for maintaining a safe speed. Drive carefully, like you are in your own neighborhood. If it snows, it can get a little tricky. Use your own judgment if you think you need a 4wd/awd. We have driven numerous 2wd(front wheel drive) sedans up and down in all seasons without difficulty, but something with clearance like a Corvette would likely encounter difficulty at the water breaks. Motorcycles are certainly welcome, just be prepared for a gravel/dirt road. I could ride a full dressed touring bike up the road(carefully), just know it might be dusty and/or slick certain times of the year. A dual sport bike is certainly at home on this type of road.

Several of the homes lights are on timers, but the wall switches will override on or off at any time. These are set to light the home in the evening for coming and going. If you prefer them to be off the timer, let me know and I will disable them.
There could be bears on the property. I haven’t seen one while I have been there, but it is very possible as we are in the heart of bear country. Do not leave food or food garbage outside unless bagged and in the trash can.

Family weekend!
This house is so comfortable! Everything was so clean and well maintained. The bedroom arrangement was great for our adult children-and we all enjoyed the outdoor areas -both the decks & fire pit. Beau is very thoughtful and thorough-we even had mouthwash in the bathroom! Location was awesome too. We will definitely bring our friends /family back To this beautiful home.

Wedding Weekend
My family came for a wedding at Castle Ladyhawke. I brought my 86 year old mother who has dementia and the house was comfortable for her. Downstairs was perfect for my son and his family while upstairs was perfect for another son and grandson. When we arrived the house was warm and welcoming and for that I’m incredibly grateful. It was cold and rainy and momma was freezing. To walk into a warm home was extra special.
