AIR CONDITIONING - The Central AC at Hale Kona Kai has been repaired and is fully functional as of 8/4/23.

Hale Kona Kai unit 311 - This unit overlooks a lagoon on the north side of the building as well as an open ocean view, looking out into Kailua Bay. Enjoy peaceful relaxation from the lanai every day! The sound of the surf will wash all your troubles away. Spinner dolphins can be seen year around. Humpback whales come in close to shore with their calves during winter. You can watch them at play right from your lanai.
Hale Kona Kai is a hidden gem, an absolute oceanfront complex of 39 one-bedroom condominium located off the main road (Alii Drive) providing for quiet, ocean-view relaxation from every unit. Neighboring Royal Kona Resort, excellent dining may be found just a two-minutes walk to Huggo's or Don the Beachcomber's is a two-minute walk away. Other great dining and entertainment, shopping and beaches are just a short stroll. You will find the white sand of Honl's Beach less than a quarter-mile to the south and the Kona Farmer's Market just a half-mile to the north.
The complex offers an elevator providing easy access for everyone. On the ocean side, you will find a heated saltwater swimming pool and a barbeque at the south end of the complex. Laundry machines are available on each floor.
Each unit offers assigned parking, secure WIFI, & cable TV. All units, including lanais, are non-smoking and Hale Kona Kai is a non-smoking facility.

It was convenient for us and a nice view and ocean sounds. It was comfortable. The manager did have a fan that was stuck on fixed the next day.

Great place. Location is the best
Wonderful place. Very clean, comfy bed, kitchen had anything we needed. Location is the best, we had our own parking spot, thats a plus. Had chairs for the beach and that was nice. All around We loved it. I would highly recommend this condo.

Well equipped condo in a great location
Stayed for 6 nights and the place had everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. Fans, beach towels and chairs, kitchen items. Great place if you like to listen to the ocean, fantastic for sleeping! Easy walk to most of the Kailua Kona strip and easy to drive to other places since it is on the less busy end of Alii Road.

Just what I needed!
I live here on Island but at the last minute I decided I wanted a quite Christmas on the ocean. This place was perfect! The unit was clean and comfortable. The grounds were clean and I felt safe. A short walk to all the restaurants on Ali'i Dr. The sunsets from the pool were beautiful! My favorite part was listening to the waves on the lani and inside while I slept. I saw a whale and dolphins while sitting on the lani! ♥️
