The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Place all used linens by the washer. The cleaner allows three loads of laundry. If you have used more than will fit in three loads please wash and dry the extras and leave them on the primary bed.
Return all items to the locations in which they were found. Any items out of place could be considered lost and you could be charged for them.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Keith and I have been married for 36 years. We have two grown children and two darling granddaughters that are the light of our lives! We have a dog, Beatrice, she is our 'kid' now that we are empty nesters. We live in Canby, another small town America at it's best. Keith manages a medium sized business and I work part-time as a victim advocate for the local district attorney. We like to garden and read, I am really into photography and Keith loves to golf. We adore our Rockaway home and know you will too!
Why they chose this property
We were looking in Cannon Beach and became disillusioned with the crowds. My sister and I came to Rockaway for a girls weekend and I was immediately in love with Rockaway. When we got home I told Keith we had to go there again. We planned a trip for later that summer. Keith felt the same way about Rockaway that I did and we started looking at property the same day. When we found our town house, I remember standing upstairs looking out at Twin Rocks and the beautiful ocean and feeling like I was home. We absolutely love it here and love our home SO much! We have tried to think of everything to put in the home to make it the ultimate in comfort and peace for everyone who comes here.
What makes this property unique
We love being able to look out the large slider in the living room and see white caps on the deep blue sea, seagulls soaring, the ocean whispering... heavenly. The sectional in the living room has a chaise at one end that is 'the best seat in the house' for reading, watching TV, or just relaxing! We love the little town of Rockaway. When we bring friends we like to walk the beach to the town square and then head over to the Cow Bell Cafe for breakfast, so nice.
We are dedicated to providing every amenity that we can think of for our guests. We are always on the look out for that one thing that may have been overlooked. It is our hope that our love for the home, and our sincere care for our guests, shines through in the decor and amenities.
We have provided cozy bedding and delightfully comfortable beds. We are often complimented on the comfort of our beds and asked for our bed "recipe". In the summer we have cotton quilts on the beds and in the winter we have duvet covers stuffed with fluffy all-weather comforters. One of our guests referred to our winter bed as a "nest". We know that a vacation cannot be great unless it includes deep restful sleep.
The kitchen has been fully loaded with everything necessary to prepare a full family meal. We have all of the usual items as well as an electric food scale, tofu press, a large selection of cutting boards, apron, platters, placemats, barbecue tools, immersion blender, food processor, salad spinner everything we can think of, our wish is our guests to want for nothing.
In the outside closet we have all the toys the little ones may want for building the ultimate sand castle. Salt Air Creek is just south of our home and a safe place to let the little ones play. The water varies from 6 -18 inches deep so the young ones can swim, build and splash safely away from the surf. We also have roasting sticks, a picnic bag, sand chairs, sand umbrella, everything you will need for a fun day on the beach!
