Sit in the living room and watch the waves roll in without seeing any other houses! Walk steps out your own meandering sand path to the beach. Unobstructed views from the living, dining, kitchen and master bedroom. Enjoy sunny days and stormy weather, all from the shelter of your own covered porch while sipping your favorite drink and relaxing! Want to be adventurous?

Go biking, surfing or skim boarding or just wander down to the jetty and watch the seals and see what the fishermen are catching. Sit on the couch and relax and watch the beautiful Oregon coast at your feet. There is something for everyone...hundreds of movies to watch, games to play, puzzles to put together and driftwood forts to build. Enjoy and have fun! This is a great family vacation home, a little piece of paradise. (Absolutely no weddings are to take place. Renters will be asked to leave immediately and their money forfeited. There are no exceptions. Also, no parties over 9 people.)

I can not say enough great things about this property and the owners. I am not sure I have ever rented a cleaner house, views are amazing and centrally located. Will definitely stay again

This house was amazing, the view was awesome, getting to the beach was easy all around it was just what we needed for our family. What blew us away was the kitchen floor was heated! Great place to stay!

We love this house!! We have stayed here several times over the years and always have a wonderful time! You really couldn't ask for a better location and view. Close to so many fun things to do on the Oregon Coast, but honestly our favorite thing to do is just walk down the path and hang out at the gorgeous beach! The home itself is very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The downstairs level with bunk beds, pull out bed, couches, tv, and tons of movies to watch is the perfect hangout for the kids while the adults socialize upstairs. The hosts are always SUPER nice and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process is very easy.

Best beach access

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great floor plan especially the patio facing the beach. It seemed very private the way it was sheltered slightly on each side, didn't notice the neighbors. Lovely sunsets and perfect access to the beach!

Quiet getaway

Property was great as was communication with the host! The view was amazing, quick walk to the beach, and floorplan of the house was perfect! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area in the evenings while the upstairs was a nice quiet retreat. The kids loved the heated kitchen floor and spent mornings sitting in the kitchen playing battleship!

This is by far the best beach house we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few! It is well equipped, comfortable, spacious, and has a direct oceanfront view that can't be beat. It's close to town but far enough away to allow you to enjoy an almost private beach experience. Jan, the owner, is a joy to work with and has provided so many thoughtful touches to make this home feel like you can live in it instantly. The kitchen has more pots and pans than my own and plenty of dishes for a crowd. The only television is in the downstairs living room, which makes the upstairs living room entirely focused on the beach view, as it should be! We loved our second stay even more than the first, and we plan to come back next year!!

Fabulous Beach Vacation!!

This is a perfect beach house for a large family or families!! The view is amazing, the kitchen well-stocked, and the house filled with books, puzzles, beach toys, comfortable beds and lounging furniture. We loved our stay here!!!

The house is literally perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Two different living spaces. Extremely comfortable beds with additional soft blankets and pillows in every closet. The outdoor faucet to rinse off sand gets warm quickly and was enjoyed by the kids. Plenty of beach toys. Nice washer and dryer. The house even has an ottoman that rolls around and is a hide-a-bed! Very convenient for someone yo sleep in one of the living spaces. Such a relaxing week watching sunsets every night and finding sand dollars all day. Hope to be back.

Beautiful beachfront home

What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, very comfortable, and full of amenities. And the view! Stunning view of the Pacific from the large picture windows in the main room. Rockaway Beach is a sleepy town but that’s a plus in our book because the beaches were uncrowded and pristine. The house is close to many other beach towns, and the host leaves details about the area — we planned our days around the suggestions! So many stunning hikes and viewing spots along route 101 to see the intertidal rock formations.Jan was so helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot!

Great location on Rockaway

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

Quiet and Family Friendly

The house was spacious and had a perfect view of the ocean. We loved that there was a dining table big enough for all of us, and the huge movie collection was a bonus. We stay in Rockaway every year because of its quiet location, and this house didn't let us down. It's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of uncrowded beach to enjoy.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times. As always, it was super clean and has everything you need. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and a short drive to town. Hope to stay again next year. My only wish is that they would put screens on the windows.

Great house, perfect location

This was our second time staying at Beach Star. It’s a beautiful house, comfortably furnished, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The only thing it was missing was a Bluetooth speaker so bring your own if you want to listen to your tunes.

Amazing home with an incredible front-seat view of the ocean! Comfortable, easy access to the beach, incredible sunsets and for us....a lot of love to go around having had our 2 daughters/2 sons-in-law with us to celebrate for the entire week! We searched for years for just the right location on a quiet beach with unobstructed views of the surf. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do. It has always felt like a magical place to us where you can relax and replenish your spirit.

What makes this property unique

Our home is centrally located in the midst of many fun things to do. Go crabbing or fishing, antique shopping throughout all the little towns around us, go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for ice cream or into Cannon Beach for shopping. Enjoy hiking, horseback riding, surfing, golfing, kayaking. You can tour the Aquarium, Nehalem Bay Winery, Oregon Air Museum or just relax and rejuvenate and never leave the comfort of your own peaceful haven on the beach!
