About this property

Clean and affordable family cottage

Just a short walk to the beach. Stone Harbor is a family resort town on a barrier island which includes Stone Harbor and Avalon. NJ. Short driving distance to Cape May, Wildwood, Ocean City. We are about 45 minutes south of Atlantic City.

Our home comfortably sleeps a family of 4-6. The first bedroom has a king size bed and wall air conditioner unit, the second bedroom has set of twin beds and a wall air conditioner unit. There is a living room in the front of the house with large smart TV, sofa, two comfortable chairs and a wall air conditioner unit. The back sun room that overlooks a large grass yard has a queen size sofa bed, free standing air conditioner, a TV and a door that closes the room off for privacy to use as a third bedroom. The eat in kitchen has a small dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator, glass electric stove and oven, coffee pot and all the essentials. The house has one full bath with shower/tub and hand rail and a large outdoor shower.

There is a large grass yard with Gas BBQ, dining table and umbrella, lounge chairs, clothes line and outdoor shower. In the garage you will find the clothes dryer and the clothes washer is in house in the back living room closet. Also in the garage are beach chairs and beach toys for your use. We supply 4 Stone Harbor seasonal beach tags for your use while you are staying with us, please leave the tags for the next guest upon departure. We also provide free WiFi, the password is hanging on the instruction sheet on the refrigerator. Off street parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway.

Why they chose this property

We have been full time residents, as well as business owners, in Stone Harbor since 1967. This is a wonderful, upscale family vacation town. Once you arrive, you could park your car and not get in it again until you go home. The 7 mile island that Stone Harbor and Avalon share has a bike lane that runs the length of the island. The beach is a short 2.5 block walk, and the bay is even an even closer 1.5 blocks in the other direction. Stone Harbor has a great downtown area that has unique shops, miniature golf, restaurants, movie theater and plenty of ice cream! Also, just 6 short blocks from this property is an extensive recreational area including grass fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, playgrounds, and organized exercise classes everyday of the week.

The water sports are endless, if you've never been to an inflatable water park on the bay it should be on your to do list while you visit.
