We had a great time during our stay! Positioned in a quiet corner of the lake we had a nice and relaxing stay with the family. We enjoyed great views of the lake and beautiful sunsets every night. Would recommend!
We had a great time staying at this cozy cabin. It’s beautifully decorated and well maintained. Donna was an excellent host - very quick to respond and accommodating. We’d love to come back again sometime!
We stayed here with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. The area is beautiful. The home is warm and cozy. Both bedrooms were inviting and the bonus room is great to have. The decorating was top notch and the extra amenities are amazing. Truly worth the stay and price.
Great place to stay with all the amenities you need
A group of friends stayed weekend to go the ice fishing extravaganza. Was very close to the event and plenty of room. The house had all the amenities you will need. Very nicely decorated and very clean. Great rate as well.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Property is so nicely decorated, clean and most importantly with a beautiful view! Everything is readily available in the kitchen just bring food! Plenty of clean bath towels etc.. My family and I had a great time. The Host Donna was quick to response with questions.. check in and check out process was so easy!
Our stay could not have been better. The home is beautiful, well laid out, sun-filled and was immaculate. The lake looked like a mirror almost the whole time - so peaceful to lounge on the deck and watch the ducks and loons through the trees. We would definitely return!
Everything went as it should have. And to be honest that's all I can ask for when going on vacation. No complications, no curveballs showed up and everything was perfect.
As can be seen by our overall rating of "5"...my family and I really enjoyed our stay of 6 nights. The bedrooms and bath rooms were especially well provisioned.
I want to make a special emphasis on the kitchen/dining room. We were able to spread out and visit with each other - without having our belongings get in the way. And it was a treat to have all new appliances!
We would definitely recommend!

Deceptive lake photos
Yes and no. Accommodations were acceptable. A bit crowded for our group however. The main issue causing dissatisfaction was the condition of the grounds and the steep incline to the lake. First, the yard was very unkempt. 5 to 6 foot weeds and thistles everywhere on the lake side of the property. We arrived on Saturday, lawn maintenance was there on Wednesday and started working on the street side of the house but were unable to do much on the lake side due to numerous bee hives and the workers getting stung multiple times.
The photo of the lake is very deceptive. There was a very long and steep incline down to the lake and back up to the house. No steps, railings etc, which was very disappointing as spending time near the water is what we were most looking forward to. The distance and incline made it quite difficult for my husband, who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. The purpose of this getaway was to spend quality time as a family at/on a lake, which ended up being only 2 evenings with a campfire. I might also mention that the lakeshore was not fit for swimming for our entire stay due to the abundance of goose droppings and green slime. Even the play sand area was not useable due to goose droppings,Any swimming required a drive to another lake/beach which was a huge disappointment and inconvenience.
To summarize, I was less than impressed, and have no plans to return. All said, the negative
outweighed the positive.
My husband and I came to stay for a long weekend of doing nothing! Neither of us brought our computers, so we couldn't work. LOL. We spent the majority of our long weekend, sitting on the deck or the dock, looking at the lake and talking. It was so, so, so nice to just hang out and enjoy the beautiful vistas and weather. It was a PERFECT weekend. -- someday, I would like to come back with our two grown daughters and their families and enjoy family time. Couple time was amazing.
Great location, quiet lake , picturesque views! Beautifully decorated home, the labeling on the kitchen cabinets was an excellent touch. The views from the living room, dining room and the deck was great. We spent quite a few peaceful moments on the bench on the dock. Donna our host was exceptional, very caring, very accommodating! We would stay here again with no hesitation.
Golf and fishing weekend for four brothers. Ideal location allowed for maximum of each (although fishing off the dock was not very feasible). House was spotless and very "lakey". Supplies were impressive. Deck and grill were welcome. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I have enjoyed restful vacations and the nice cozy Peaceful Nest is always a welcoming spot for us.
Why they chose this property
We love the location at a peaceful part of Sibley lake surrounded by nature/trees, one can also see and hear the lake birds. Sibley Lake offers great fishing. You can enjoy paddle boating or just hanging out by the sandy area on the lake front and stargazing by the firepit.
