We had changes to our stay, due a death in our family, and Kelley was very helpful and understanding. We regretted we couldn’t stay and enjoy their peaceful place longer! We will definitely visit again!
Beautiful property and amazing panoramic views all around. Clean, relaxing and easy stay! There is access to the beach down the rocks for those without physical limitations otherwise it is a quick walk on the front road down to the beach my older laws used. Absolutely recommend this place :)
We had an amazing time at this property! It had everything we needed and the location was perfect! We enjoyed hanging out with sea turtles as we watched the sunset each night. I hope to stay again someday !
Had a fantastic stay, location was amazing. If you’re in need of air conditioning better not consider. It was quite hot with only fans available. I would stay again.
My 14 year old son and I loved this place. We stayed for three days and it was an excellent base to explore the north shore- plus <5 mins from turtles swimming and resting on the beach. The view is spectacular…absolute beach front. Shelley was a very helpful host. Strongly recommend this place for anyone including families.
Hello Paradise Ocean View Vacation. Don't bother searching anywhere else. If this place if available, book it, before we do again. Seriously its gorgeous. Clean, spacious, have everything you need for an at home vacation get away. Yes you van instacart groceries (come see what's left over because we were shocked what was already there) then make your order. Safeway does deliver wine & beer. Yay. We were able to urber everyday, multiple times. But in the grand scheme, I'd recommend renting a car. The home had plenty of shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap and dish soap which I appreciate!!!Kelley was always available to chat and help with "where to go" as we had littles and a few places fell threw with unreasonable swells. I absolutely plan on coming back again. I have no issue with the guests upstairs, they were quiet and super friendly. Again, I can't express how amazing this place is. Just do it.

Incredible Northshore Views
We enjoyed our stay very much. As I write this, I’m sitting on the couch watching surfers take on the waves as the sun rises behind us. The views are incredible and location is perfect. We explored the numerous beautiful Northshore beaches, all within 5 - 15 minute drives. We could walk down to Turtle Beach and the beach just east of it, which felt private. After exploring all the beaches, including driving to the windward beaches one day, we liked ours the best. We didn’t really swim in the Northshore beaches, as the waves were too rough for swimming in March. The Kitchen is well stocked and the unit provides plenty of beach towels. There are some chairs and snorkeling gear that other guests have left behind, but you’ll likely have to either rent your own or buy some at Walmart on the way in or at the local Foodland grocery store, which is 5 minutes away. Only issue for our 2nd floor unit is the noise from the 3rd floor. You can hear every step from above, and if they open their windows, their conversations from our bedrooms. We feel it’s a small price to pay for a front row seat to paradise.
This wonderful house was right on the beach at the North Shore. We could wake up in the morning and sip our coffee as the surfers assembled for a day on the waves. The kitchen was VERY well-equipped with cookware and knives that were an absolute pleasure for a cook (me) to use. The house is located just a few minutes just down the road from the historic village of Hale'iwa, one of my favorite places on Oahu. Try the "Old School" kalua pork sandwich at Kono's.I used to live in Hawaii and I have traveled all over the island with family and with students who took course from me there from the University of Delaware. I love the North Shore. It is far away from the tourist noise and bluster of Waikiki, but close enough to downtown to easily tour Pearl Harbor, visit the Bishop Museum, or drive the opposite way to spend the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. When my wife and I come to Oahu, we stay on the North Shore. This time, we came with her sister and her husband who live in France. We wanted them to experience the best of Oahu. They got it. We would rent this place again!!
We loved the location, it had a lot of room, very adequate parking, and the view of the sunset was awesome. My only complaint was the lack of cooking utensils such as spatula, serving spoons. We had a work around and was able to cook using the out door long handle ones. I would come back again and stay there…thank you for a wonderful memory.
This was our first trip to the North Shore. We absolutely loved the location. Being right on the beach, we took advantage of Chun's surf spot and incredible sunsets. We hope to return sooner than later!
After having to reschedule our Hawaiian vacation due to the pandemic, I happily found this property on the north shore to rent. It is a lovely property that is right on the water. It is not a beach in front, rather lava rocks but you can walk a short distance to a beach entrance. We stayed on the main level of the house which is split into three units. It was the perfect size for our family of four (two teenagers) plus my parents. There are many fans throughout the home and tons of windows to keep the air flowing. A couple of days were a little hot, but it was June.
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and there are smaller grocery stores in both Haleiwa and north past Waimea. Both bathrooms were recently remodeled and had newer towels. There were beach towels provided and two washer/dryers. The dryer closest to the house did not work correctly (maybe the heating element was out?) but the other one worked fine.
There was tons of snorkeling gear provided and boogie boards. We were grateful for the beach umbrella but could have used a few more of the real low beach chairs.
Be advised, the location of this house is great. But since we were last on the north shore the traffic has really gotten bad. Allow lots of time to get anywhere between 8am and 7pm.
Thanks for a lovely time in a great spot!
Great beach house. Amazing beach access, fun surf break to the left and right of the house, and lovely views. Even though it’s right off the road, stepping inside and hanging on the porch takes you away from the crowds and the traffic. The teenagers loved the access to the surf and the beach.
Close proximity to Waimea Bay, Haleiwa, and Pipeline.
We would definitely return!
Would definitely retu
The whole process was so easy! The location cannot be beat! We loved the views and loved the backyard and short walk to the beach. Upon arrival we did have a very specific request for an allergy of one of my guests with me. The property manager was so quick to respond and took our request and resolved it that same day! I would rent this home again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much to Kelly!! You were amazing!! Mahalo!
The downstairs unit was good. A little loud with little feet upstairs but not terrible. We saw 21plus turtles on the small beach. Enough beds for my 4 teenage kids. Washer and dryer for each unit was really helpful. Windows and deck could have been cleaner. Maybe have windex and magic easier for crazy people like me.
We loved sitting on the back porch and watching the surfers brave the huge waves. Every now and then we would see a humpback whale in the distance. The town close by has lots of restaurants and shops to go to. The house has no AC and that wasn’t a big problem in February but I think it would be a little too warm in the summer to sleep in the back bedroom because some of the windows open up to a stairwell for the basement and not the outside. The cleaning people could be more detailed when it came to the corners of the floors and the base of the windows and there were ants in the master bath sink every morning. Beds were nice, towels were good quality, kitchen was well stocked, and the yard was lovely. Plenty of parking for people above us and ourselves. I would stay there again; you can’t beat the location.

Glad you had a good stay and would visit again! We’ll have our cleaners look at the corners. We’re on a regular pest control schedule, but sometimes weather impacts ant activity. So, our exterminator is readily available if we know there is an issue. The back bedroom gets a breeze from windows on two sides of the room. There is also a ceiling fan and floor fans if needed and it’s never really been problem as we are on the ocean. The stairway does indeed have many windows that open up to the outside.
The house was perfect for our family of five. My kids loved playing on the grass area in front of house. From great surf, sea turtles laying in the sand, sandy beach for relaxing, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. We will definitely be back soon!
What a wonderful experience! Location is ideal - on the water and steps away from an awesome beach. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night, then waking to see the surfers lined up out in the water. Property owners are kind, generous and very responsive. The nearby town of Haleiwa has restaurants, shops, and the world famous Matsumoto Shave Ice. (Yum!)
The unit itself is very comfortable. Don’t expect high-end upgrades; if you want a “resort” experience, stay at the Ritz. But for a family, it has everything you need to relax and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Book this property! You won’t regret it. :)
Fantastic place... Best location in the north shore

Why they chose this property
We chose this home because the beauty, setting, and views were unbelievable. The oceanfront location with great snorkeling and surfing in the 'front yard' was a plus. We also figured our children would enjoy the tide pools in the front.
We liked the Chuns area as it was north of Haleiwa town by 2 miles yet easily accessible. And being more on the southern part of the North Shore meant a little better weather, less traffic, and easier access to town and the airport.
We looked at 62 properties and bought this one.
After all of these years, we're still in awe when we visit. We think that's special given the fact that we are coming from Del Mar, CA.
