Within minutes of Mount Ripley, Michigan Tech University and within 1 hour of Mount Bohemia and Copper Harbor. The view of the Portage Canal and Lift Bridge says it all about this location.

Wonderful place to stay. Big, bright, and beautiful space with everything travellers need. Beautiful views of the canal, bridge, and Hancock from the big living room windows, or from the Lakeshore Drive walk just a few steps away. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stay longer.

The pictures of this apartment do not do it justice. Very roomy "shotgun -style" apartment with all the rooms in one row along a hallway. View from front room is outstanding. Bathroom is very large and contains a stacked washer and dryer in a closet. Shelden Avenue in front of the building is full of good restaurants and shops. Be aware Houghton and Hancock have lots of one-way streets, if you're not used to that.

The apartment is in a perfect location, in the heart of the town. It is very clean and modern, with everything we need. Thank you! FYI- The walls are thin and the beautiful wood floors creek. sensitive sleepers might struggle if neighbors are up late, or if the Downtowner Bar patrons get rowdy on the weekends. I sleep through anything, but my husband struggled one night.
