Log Cabin on Main St. In the ❤️ of Winston Salem. Sleeps 4 comfortably.
Stay in this cozy log home. We're within walking distance to Old Salem, University of NC School of the Arts, and the strollway to downtown Winston Salem. Our rental is a 1 bedroom sleeping loft with queen size bed (must climb ladder to get to loft), sleeper sofa in living room, and 1 full bathroom, large deck and covered front porch, with parking right at the front doorstep. You will also enjoy a self check-in. Note: During the spring carpenter bees arrive and love to hang out and bore holes in the hand hewn logs. No worries because they don't sting. They are just annoying. Hoping some new spray will detour them, but not harm them.

We stayed one night while moving our son into the UNCSA campus. The place was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed relaxing on the deck overlooking the UNCSA campus. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
I really enjoyed my stay in the log cabin. Owner had excellent communication and the property is adorable. It was easy to relax in the living area, the bed was comfortable, and the towels were lovely and plush. I would definitely stay here again.

Karen was a joy to work with. We would love to have her stay with us again. She was in town to attend a performance at the North Carolina School Of the Arts and was tickled it was within walking distance.

Very clean, pretty, and close to few restaurants and stores. Had a great time. we are in our 60's but the steps to the upper loft did not bother us but we where only there for two nights. Great place to say to visit downtown. No TV but it was nice to just relax. I would stay here again.
Great place for my husband and I. There was a mix up in reservation dates (my fault!) and Sonya went out of her way to accommodate us. Thanks so much Sonya! You were a perfect hostess!

Karen, thank you for choosing The Cabin on Main. We would love to host you again in the future.
This property was absolutely adorable and was largely as listed. I missed the part about the stair type ladder. But that was very clearly listed, but you do need to be aware that to access the loft bedroom you go up a stair type ladder. But that was on us. The cabin was immaculately clean, and everything we needed was provided.

The property was very cute and homey. One of us slept on the pull-out couch and one in the bed. While the bed was the better of the two, the couch was definitely fine. I did not feel the support bars. The stairs are fine for younger people but a little bit dicey for those fit 70-year-olds. More handles would be nice.
This is my second stay at Cabin on Main. Both times were very enjoyable. The host is very easy to communicate with and is concerned about your comfort. This second visit we used the kitchen more. It is a small efficiency sized kitchen but works well for smaller meals. If you sleep in the loft, you must be nimble enough to climb a ladder. It’s fun if you’re able to manage it. I’d definitely stay again.

Thank you for choosing The Cabin on Main. We loved having you!
I grew up in this neighborhood playing in the creek as well as, the School of the Arts now known as UNCSA. My father sold log homes and this was his first model and office. When his business grew, he converted the cabin into two living spaces. The downstairs is a studio apartment. I am a retired teacher and love people and where I am from. Therefore, I love opening up the log cabin to tourists so they can enjoy our city too. Cabin on Main is conveniently lovated at the edge of downtown. Footsteps away from UNCSA, Old Salem, and Salem College, Wake Forest University, LJVM Coliseum, Truist Stadium, The Dash Baseball stadium, etc are all within 10 minutes of the cabin.
