The view is beautiful. Communication with the host is horrible, and saying that there is laundry available is misleading. We could never find it and spent an entire day of our vacation in town at a laundromat. There is mold in the shower.

Very unfortunate that this guest decided to leave such a poor review because they didn’t get a quick response on where to find the washer and dryer on site (which is relatively self evident) in addition they received a message on where exactly to fine the fully stocked laundry room — while they were still here enjoying the property. They received abundant communication from the start of their booking yet clearly these guests are are retaliatory for not finding the washer & dryer and having to deal with their own dirty laundry, literally. I can’t imagine ever permitting someone like this on my property again… a shame as I thought they were a nice guests until they wrote such temperamental words that are untrue.

Perfect romantic get away

My husband and I stayed here during our civil ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse. Amy is an amazing host, very accommodating and organized. We stayed here with my small dog. The home is very dog friendly with nice touches like dog bowls. Other nice touches- great quality hair dryer. The property itself is absolutely stunning. This was a perfect stay for us 3- the views and neighborhood are amazing. We look forward to booking this stay again. Cannot recommend enough!!

Bad experience

Paid for property thru VRBO. Entered to find someone else occupying the unit, who rented the same unit for the same dates via a competing website. Owner claimed it was VRBO’s fault, since they are supposed to sync their calendar with the competing website. She reimbursed the portion VRBO paid her. VRBO said it was the owner’s responsibility not to double book dates, and would not refund their portion of what we paid.

Unfortunately this was a technical issue from VRBO and should not have any rating on the property whatsoever as their system had a glitch with synchronizing reservations. Thankfully, this has been fixed and not occurred again.
