The inviting living space has a cozy sofa and a 42” HD TV, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. The fully equipped kitchen blends both functionality and style, with sleek limestone floors and modern stainless steel appliances, including a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
The serene king bedroom offers a peaceful retreat, with French glass doors that open to a small private terrace, providing charming foothill views. The adjoining bathroom is appointed with limestone accents, custom cabinetry, and a shower-tub combo for ultimate relaxation.

Convenient bike rentals and the nearby Amtrak station make exploring even easier, whether you're strolling down State Street’s boutique-lined promenade or setting off on an unforgettable day trip to the Channel Islands or Santa Ynez wine country. Whether seeking tranquility or excitement, this perfect location ensures a memorable getaway you'll want to relive again and again.
Please note that the parking spot is housed in a small carriage house and suitable for 1 compact vehicle. The dimensions of the carriage house where you would park your car are 16 and 1/2 feet in length and 8 feet and 8 inches in width. The doors have to be manually opened to the carriage house. Street parking is also accessible. Alternatively, we have other units which offer a standard parking space.
Our building is fully licensed for short-term rentals and located within the Santa Barbara Coastal Zone, where stays under 30 days are allowed. Many other listings in the city fall outside this zone and are not legally permitted to offer short-term stays—so hosts might decline your booking request to avoid violations. We, on the other hand, automatically confirm your reservation the moment you book. It’s a seamless, stress-free option for a quick coastal getaway, making us the perfect choice for your Santa Barbara stay.

This was our 4th time staying in Santa Barbara and this was the best place we have stayed. It was accurately described, comfortable, very clean, and a fantastic location. The communication was top notch. I will definitely stay here again!!

We had a great time during our stay. The listing was accurate, clean, and check in was seamless. We had a late flight and host was nice enough to offer complimentary late check out which allowed us to spend more time exploring!
This was a very comfortable place to stay, only a couple of blocks to the beach. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It had everything we needed for a very pleasant weekend!

Our stay in Santa Barbara was nice. The condo was exactly what we had hoped for and gave us plenty of space to relax after being on the road for a couple of weeks. It was within walking distance to State Street and the beach.
As discribed, beautiful I could see myself living there. 3 blocks from the beach.

Nice accomodation - clean and good loccation
We had a great time. The Getaway is clean and very well equipped. Sure beats the local hotel rooms and we picked it because of the price and were happily surprised when arriving that it was as advertised and even better. The bed is so comfortable too.

The getaway was the perfect space for my weekend in Santa Barbara. An easy walk to all the best restaurants and the beach. I only used my car once to get groceries. Would definitely come back

Property was great! Exactly as described
The property was great! It was in the perfect location. Complex was quiet and clean. Everything was perfect other than the cable went out on the TV so we weren't able to use it. Other than that I would highly recommend and stay here again!

We own multiple properties in Santa Barbara. All the studio, one bedroom and 2 bedroom units you see here are located on 201 Bath Street. My husband and I own and manage each of our properties. We have pride of ownership and when you call with questions regarding the properties or any concerns you speak directly to us. We own and manage the entire complex and all the units inside it. This pride of ownership shows and as a result our guests return over and over again providing us with a loyal customer base. Many of our guests have been coming for years and for long-term stays.
Why they chose this property
There are so many Santa Barbara properties available for rent. The number one difference between all of them are location, location, location. The closer to the beach and the closer to Santa Barbara the more expensive the real estate. We are 2 blocks to the beach and downtown, not on a commercial thorough fare, not next to the highway or railroad track and not a bus ride or car ride away from downtown. We combine our location with the best pricing and the best amenities. Finally, we are immaculately clean.
