Sheepscot River Perch
We loved the home. The kitchen is well stocked. The appliances and fixtures, from plumbing to lighting are all modern and in great shape. The home is very clean and welcoming. The view of the river/ocean is lovely, peaceful. There are plenty of gathering spaces, both indoors and out, perfect with a large group. Downtown is nearby and easily walkable. The historic district has informational markers on the important homes in the area. If we have an opportunity to return with a large group again, this will be our first choice!

An Absolutely Great Stay
My group of eight had an absolutely great stay here. The entire house felt fresh and new, and was spotless when we arrived. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely well-stocked with cooking supplies, which was very welcome. The house is an easy walk down the street from downtown Wiscasset, which boasts two excellent lobster shacks. (Pro tip: Red's Eats is the place which has received the most publicity, but Sprague's Lobster is just as good, and usually has a much shorter line.) The property manager was very helpful and available, at one point in our stay calling to ask how everything was, and to let us know that more cooking implements were being dropped off. Very appreciated. Highly recommended - thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful midcoast vacation spot!
The Sheepscott River Perch has spectacular water views and is right in the heart of Wiscasset, a picturesque village in Maine with lovely shops and art galleries. In the morning you can walk to Treats for coffee and the best baked goods. For lunch, you can walk down the block to the famous Red's Eats for a lobster roll. And for dinner, it's a short walk to the lovely Water Street Kitchen and Bar for a delicious dinner. Beyond these walkable destinations, Wiscasset is the perfect spot to drive to many gorgeous midcoast Maine attractions. The house is spacious, well appointed, and has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and clean, and the kitchen is setup to cook amazing meals for your family and/or friends. We loved our time there and give Sheepscott River Perch our highest recommendation to any family or group wanting a beautiful space to stay in midcoast Maine.

What an absolute treat!
As if the stunning, unobstructed views of the Sheepscot weren’t enough to make your heart sing, this recently renovated house is fully set up for you to enjoy a truly splendid retreat. The owner has clearly very thoughtfully curated… everything. From furnishings to fixtures, exceptionally placed (and beautiful) lighting and plush (organic!?) beds and bedding. Not to mention the high vibe, very good energy in the old house. You will find yourself quite happily settling into the sweet town of Wiscasset, feeling grateful for and filled up by this wonderful gift you’ve treated yourself and your people to. Don’t pass up the opportunity to stay here; you won’t regret it!
