About this property

Breezy, eco-friendly, with pool and lagoon view

Egret’s Nest is a perfect home base for your island adventures. Contemporary styling and open, airy layout invite you to enjoy the island breezes throughout the day. Enjoy dinner on the spacious balcony and cocktails by the pool. Kayak around Thompson Cove to see the turtles, egrets, and heron who make their homes here. A 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 more to da Conch Shack.

Second floor unit, 3 bed, 2 bath w/ two extra twin mattresses in ladder accessible loft space suitable for children.

This second floor unit is the part-time personal residence of the owner. Items left out are for the respectful use of guests. AC is available in the bedrooms, which should only be run at night.

The completely separate first floor apartment and garage are occupied by a sea captain and his sweetheart potcake (dog), Roxy – see link in guidebook. First and second floor apartments share access to private pool.

Entire second floor of home (except locked closet in master bedroom used owner’s personal storage,) pool, and dock areas. Park in the driveway space to the left under the banyan tree.

Electricity and water are very expensive on the island; please turn off AC, fans and lights when not in use, or anytime you leave the apartment. Give the fans a chance to work with the breeze to cool down the space and you could save money while helping the environment.

5% of all rental fees will be donated to TCSPCA, Potcake Place, or the TCI Reef Fund - please let me know if you have a preference. Feel good about renting here, as you will be helping the animals in Turks and Caicos. :)

Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Hang any wet towels to dry - do not leave in a bundle on the floor. It may be days or weeks before anyone comes to clean.
Please put trash securely in the bins to the west of the garage.
Close the louvers that can be easily closed, and shut and lock the sliding doors to the balcony. Lock the exit door with the electronic deadbolt only on departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here. Location was great, close drive to anywhere on the island. We loved paddling the lagoon and spotting all the sea turtles and cool birds. Home was very well stocked and met all of our needs. Host was readily available for questions and provided great suggestions.

Family get away

The house is AMAZING!! Our flight got postponed a couple days and the owner was SO HELPFUL in working with us to extend our stay. The lagoon is beautiful & we even got to see a few turtles swimming around.

Great place for your TCI stay!

We had a great stay! Highly recommend for your trip to TCI, it’s within walking distance to the beach and Da Conch Shack, and a close drive to everywhere else! A beautiful pool and lagoon access right off the house! Also, Roxie is a highlight—she’s the sweetest dog on the island.

At home in the islands!

Well equipped and situated property. The neighborhood is quiet and away from all the hustle of the resort scene. Plenty of beautiful wildlife in and around the lagoon and we got to have coffee with the baby green season turtles every day! The pool is just the right size to relax and cool down in and for the kids to splash around and have fun. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely home near gorgeous beach cove.

Lovely, well stocked and very comfortable home in quiet upscale location. Two easy options to walk to perfect beach. Captain Andy downstairs was friendly and we had a FABULOUS day on his boat snorkeling and at Noah's ark. My 30ish kids also loved the stay.

Fantastic Stay

If you aren't the resort type, then Michael's is the spot for you. It is in a quiet location, with a pool, lagoon, with a kayak and sup board and a short walk to the beach. What more could you need? We had a fantastic time, even though the weather wasn't great. Michael was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We were all very happy and would recommend the spot to anyone.

Great Vacation!

We were very happy with the property. True to the description. We cooked full meals with no issues and we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was good. The private beach was a short easy walk. The pool came in handy in the morning and evenings when we were at the property. Andy below the unit was very helpful as well. We would certainly return to this rental.

Amazing place.

This was my family’s first trip to Turks and Caicos and these accommodations were incredible. There were only 4 of us and we had plenty of space. I have never stayed in a more stocked home, the kitchen had every gadget that you I could think of and there were plenty of towels for the bathroom, pool, and beach. The view from the deck is beautiful looking onto the pool and the cove, and very relaxing. I watched the sunrise from the deck each morning while my daughters slept in. The dock for the pond is very close to the pool and just a very short path to it. Mike was very accessible and his welcome packet is very thorough and full of lots of great information about the house, the local area and beach, and restaurant recommendations. Wifi was excellent which was a relief as I needed to work from our location. We will definitely be back in Turks and Caicos - and would love to stay at this location again!

Sea Turtle Lagoon!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Michael’s property for my birthday week! It’s quiet, serene, has a private pool which is a great way to cool off after a long day on the beach and its location on a sea turtle lagoon cannot be beat! The property is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood that is just a short drive to the airport, nearby grocery stores, a marina, and restaurants. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and how it was not located in the busy tourist area, but that’s also just a short drive away if you like. The property itself is very clean and worked great for 5 adults. Hooray for 2 bathrooms! Remember that the ocean breeze in the Caribbean is your a/c during the day. If you need 24/7 a/c then I’d suggest staying at a hotel! The property has a full kitchen which was nice when we didn’t want to go out. Michael was very easy to communicate with and truly the icing on my birthday cake was the delightful ship captain and his sweet dog Roxy that lives below. I’d highly recommend staying at Michael’s property and taking a boat cruise with the ship captain!

Property manager dis not call me only texted. The accommodation was uncomfortable as we had a bug infestation and had to change our accommodations. We were refunded our money but was very unsatisfied.
