Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #239 will have the option of temporary membership privileges, for a transfer fee, at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Relaxing Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean,quiet,right on the beach. Great for a relaxing beach vacation. No access to restaurants or bars from the beach. You need to drive for a selection of places to eat. If you're looking for relaxation and a great beach and nice pool at a decent rate, this is the place.

Quiet, clean, and easy access to a private beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great choice on a quiet stretch of beach even during the height of spring break. Even in a unit not facing the gulf- the outdoor deck was a great addition- and a few quick steps to the beach made it nice. Lots of activities to enjoy - the kiddos loved the heated pool, mini golf and shuffleboard. A few fixer upper needs like broken shuffleboard pieces but the grounds are maintained and nice; the unit is clean. Needs some minor repair and better pillows!

Relaxing Retreat

We enjoyed our days at Silver Sands. Our unit was very spacious and comfortable. It was an easy two minute walk to the beautiful beach, and checkin was a breeze. We loved the proximity to restaurants and appreciated the list of area restaurants we received at checkin. We would definitely stay here again.
