RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #238 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

The condo was spacious, well-appointed, and clean. Silver Sands is in a great location. We loved the pool, shuffleboard, and put-put golf, and, of course, the beautiful beach. Access to Cedars was also great!

The office was very accommodating, the place was spotless and had everything we needed. My only negative is that one of the washing machines did not work properly, but the office gave me extra quarters so I could dry the load ....

We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was perfect for our family. Clean and spacious for us to be together but still have our own space. I just wish we would have had more beach towels. Will stay there again.

Wonderful property right on the beach!

Had a wonderful long weekend here with extended family. Unit was clean, fantastic location steps from the powdery white sand beach. Great that they had lounge chairs for us to use. Nice pool with pool toys available as well. Harry's market right down the road was perfect for our food/drink needs. Free gym pass to a gym within walking distance was wonderful also.

Was good weekend. Great location and property. Property manager doesn't seem to know much about property (certainly doesn't know details. Minimal dishes and utensils. Is a property I'd visit again.

Wonderful family space

Clean inside and out! Great beach access. Wonderful staff cleaning the grounds daily. Our space was perfect for parents with adult children age 18-24. We could easily rise early and the kids not hear us. Had beach chairs and other items to borrow for the beach. Full kitchen and awesome gas grills at the pool!

Spacious, Peaceful, Perfection

Property was very spacious, impeccably maintained, and perfect location! Resort was right on the beach, everything was beautifully maintained, pool was warm and wonderful, and the beach was just about the best (if you like calm, gentle waves) that I have ever seen (even better than Siesta Key Beach!). Soft, gorgeous sand and almost crystal clear blue water. Staff was super-helpful and kind, very accommodating. Rooms were even larger (and better quality) then the pictures conveyed. I can't recommend this place enough!

It is what it is

Nice location on the island and great private beach. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The unit is as pictured in the ad. It’s a bit dated and has a strange layout making it a 3 bedroom unit with one bedroom having a separate entrance from the outside.

Great location

Very nice week with family. Nice unit with a few issues that were addressed quickly. Handle of sliding glass door was broken and hanging down. Toilet in one bathroom kept clogging. I reported and everything was addressed within 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Fun Getaway with Friends

We loved the location and had such a fun vacation. The beach access was convenient and they even had chairs and umbrellas. The room was very clean and the perfect size for 6 adults. We loved the balcony and decor and the unit was spacious. Highly recommend and world stay here again. We had a great time with friends. I gave 3 stars for the property manager because I went to the office 3 times and there was no one there. We did after hours check in but I still thought this was odd. Upon checkout I just left a note on the desk.
