We had a great time at this quiet getaway. The river access and the beautiful views driving in were awesome. Our host was so kind and helpful we can’t wait to stay again!
Shanty #6 is exactly that- a room just big enough for the bed. If you're taller than 5', the bed isn't long enough (the edge was falling off the platform it was on). The cranks on the windows don't work, so only 1 up/down window works. And there is no working lock on the door. I would call this a glorified camp site, and if that's what you're looking for- it's perfect. Otherwise, the cost is too high for what you get.

Pet friendly, great tiny house and beautiful setting. Shower is a bit rustic, but its hot. Nice, informative and friendly host and very beautiful property with trails and the river right in front of you.
Although very small, we LOVED our stay! It was a beautiful property on the Sawyer River. It was perfect for what we wanted for our weekend!!!
We look forward to staying again soon!

Thank you for the great review. I look forward to having you again. Thank for keeping it tidy and trash free also.
We stayed memorial weekend and it was a very peaceful weekend. Had an awesome fire already made when we arrived and plenty of wood for the whole stay. The dogs were able to explore the river and it was just a restful stay. Definitely will stay again.

It was a very nice getaway from it all out in nature kind of place with a wonderful host. There was even a small river within a Stonesthrow of the cabin, which made it very nice to listen to.
I stayed for two nights. The bed was comfy and the communication with the host was great. It's very close to the street, but it still feels like you are off in the woods.
A junkyard with a smelly bed. There are beautiful places to stay in that area GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I apologize if may thought building supplies and tools for 9 rentals. I do my best to organized have the property on tip top shape. There is only one person that I know of that does it all here.
The smell I believe was from the damp carpet from the dog the night before you. Did my best to vacuum it. Unless your nose does not like Armor Hammer? It had rained for few days so air was stale already.
We have stayed with Eric a few times, in the Tiny Cabin, and this was another beautiful few days! We love the peacefulness and escaping our very hectic schedules! Looking forward to seeing Eric again next summer.
Eric's cabin in Warren is a beautiful little spot with a rustic feel. Eric is a great host, and there's a lovely fire pit right outside the door. It's just what we needed after a big day of hiking in the White Mountains. Quite basic, as the listing makes clear, but a good alternative to a campground.
we had a great time here! the property was beautiful, and there was privacy. there were other small cabins around the property, but the distance was enough to feel like you’re alone. there was a fire made and ready for us upon arrival (we lit it when we were ready) and Eric was super accommodating and had lots of info. we will be returning
For VRBO Absolutely wonderful stay! The river is just perfect. It sounds beautiful at night and filled with fireflies! ( in July) I sat in the river to read and had perfect cell service. Super convenient location, close anything you could need. Eric, the host, was lovely. Definitely going back!
We had such an amazing time at this little cabin. Clean and neat. Plenty of heat and hot water. Nature walks were astonishing. We brought our little dog with us and she loved it.
Eric was great and very helpful with anything that came up. Wifi was a bit spotty and facilities are under construction, but the tiny cabin/hut was warm and and the bed comfy. The location by the river was lovely and I had some lovely evenings at the campfire after hiking about in the area.
If you love mountain hideaways and just getting away from it all this is perfect. You can listen to the stream all night have a little fire, to me and my wife that have been camping 39 years this was awesome. You are roughing it but you have a bed a shower a bathroom and nature all around. We love it and will be back.

Thank for your wonderful review and leaving without a trace. I look forward to hosting you again.
Easy to find location off a main road with. What is listed is what you get! It's not large cabin by any means but the heater kept things warm in the winter snowstorm! Note that you probably won't have cell service in this stay, but that was not an issue for us!

Tiny Cabin
The cabin was on a river and the overall accomodations were what I expected. The owner was away when we arrived which we learned from someone in another cabin as well as where the bathroom was and the wifi password.
The owner did respond when I messaged him.
