About this property

Formerly the coachman's cottage in the carriage house of an 1890's Bellevue Avenue estate, this stylish and comfortably furnished home is the perfect location from which to explore Newport. Cozy, yet spacious the house has an eat-in kitchen as well as a dining room, a large living room with multiple seating areas, and a charming garden offering a place to relax as well as elegantly dine outside. Modern upgrades include central air conditioning. Located in the center of the historic district, the house is walking distance to all the mansions and the Cliff Walk. Town, the waterfront and beaches are only a mile away. The carriage house includes two additional units, each has private outdoor space. The carriage house holds two additional residential units, but each unit has its own private outdoor space. We do not allow events or parties of any kind, and we do not host bachelorette weekends or bridal parties. When making a booking request please let us know the details of your group and what brings you to Newport.

Nice Location

Beautiful stone fronted former carriage house. Across from a lovely park and near to the grand homes of Newport. The garden and patio are very pleasant and private. The house is well furnished and comfortable. We hope to return on day.

Outstanding Newport experience!

We have been coming to Newport for over 20 years - this home is now the place we want to return to again and again - I can’t say enough about how lovely and delightful every nook and cranny of this luxurious house is - we were four adults and a six year old child and the accommodations and location surpassed our hopes and expectations - the process was easy and furnishings exceptional.
