This lovely home was perfect for our family reunion. We had 16 people comfortably enjoying the amenities. It was a quiet location after busy days of hiking and sightseeing.! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
I can't say enough good things about this house. It is comfortable, stocked with everything you could need, and the views are spectacular. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation week and even had a small wedding on the property surrounded by our kids. We made some great memories here!
The check-in was easy. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very well stocked kitchen with pans, dishes, cookware and grilling tools. The house was so comfortable but the star of the show was the backyard with planting of seating for all of us,the fire pit and the stunning g view. We used the propane grill one night and the outdoor seafood pot outdoor on an additional propane stand. We all enjoyed our stay.
My five brothers and sisters enjoyed it immensely and our spouses. It was very relaxing very clean very well equipped. We are enjoyed our stay there immensely enjoy the local attractions lobster pounds Pickleball courts, hiking trails and biking trails.
Our stay was fantastic, the house is best described as stately. The amenities are great and everything and beyond was catered for.
Loved our stay here.
Thank you.
Our group included two families with 5 kids. This was a great house with plenty of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed the screen porch and huge fireplace. We spent many evenings after hiking warming up by the fire.
During our Maine visit, we wanted to experience Acadia and all it had to offer. We chose this location to stay because it offered bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone and a quiet place to come home to. We were not disappointed.
We rented this home for a large family get together: grandparents, 3 children with spouses, and 9 grandchildren. It was perfect! Each family had their personal space with gorgeous harbor views through screened windows (lovely ocean breeze at night!) and an ensuite bathroom, but there was also tons of space to play and hang. The kitchen had everything we needed to host large meals, including the outdoor grill and firepit. We loved the pretty dishes but plastic plates was a plus given the young children. The home's location felt private and the landscaping was well thought out for both the view and access to the rocky shore. We would definitely stay here again!
Almost hate to leave a review, as our entire family would like to keep this gem a secret!!
Beautiful home, wonderful amenities, stunning view. A true taste of Maine, and an incredible way to celebrate our mother’s 60th birthday!

Thank you so much, Ryan! So glad you enjoyed this lovely property!
We hosted our friends and family over a late summer weekend for our small wedding at this huge, quirky home. It was a great place to host a dinner party - the home is fully stocked with everything you’ll need. We had a large group with some small children and there was plenty of space to spare. The location was serene - right on the water - and copious parking for all our guests. We took away some fond memories and look forward to coming back
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this home. The location was perfect, the views were incredible, and the house was outfitted with everything we needed to celebrate my parents’ 55th anniversary. We spent some time in Bar Harbor and Acadia, but Winter Harbor had so much to offer as well. The house even had everything we needed to do our own Lobster boil. We spent our time at the house enjoying the lovely view or playing around the rocky beach as the tide came in. This was such a special trip for our family and this home added to our unforgettable trip.

So happy to hear you had such a wonderful trip! Thanks for staying with us!
This place is great! Several families with a bunch of kids and you could always find a nice quiet place to relax. The sunsets are amazing and the night sky is gorgeous. With the amazing library, the big living room with a fantastic fireplace, a huge dining room table that fit us all, and baths in every bedroom, this place is beyond fantastic. The kids even pulled fresh mussels from the bay and we made them for dinner. There is also an adorable downtown that throws you back in time with all the modern expectations. Love this place!
What a wonderful place to stay and unplug. It is such a great location. The house is located right on the ocean and each bedroom has a view of it. The house is just a mile away from the town center, which includes a small super market, 5 and 10 store, coffee shop, a restaurant and a hot dog cart (that serves the best French fries and lobster rolls). There is also an entrance to Acadia National park, which is less crowded and just as beautiful the part on Mount Desert Island. This is a hidden gem, that probably want stay hidden for much longer.
A group 10 women stayed here for 2 nights. It was so much fun! (*watch the house numbers as both vehicles’ gps systems sent us to the next door neighbors). Plenty of room to spread out but also hang out together. Beds were comfy, pantry was WELL STOCKED, plenty of water pressure and hot water for all. Great location right on the water where we could watch fishermen checking their lobster traps every morning. Our only regret was that it was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit. Perfect location for going to Acadia without the crowds!
Away (but close enough) from the congestion of Acadia and Bar Harbor, The house is located with complete privacy. Away from roads and noise and people. Beautifully renovated with modern kitchen balanced well with large spaces and porches. Landscaped to make the most of harbor/ocean views and sunset. Was even possible to launch paddleboard from the craggy shoreline at low tide. No A/C in a hot spell was manageable with fans. And wifi worked as you'd expect with 20+ people on a single signal helping with the isolation even though problematic for remote workers. Great stay and the ladies at Coastal Posh were super helpful, communicative and responsive.
I can not say enough great things about this property. The pictures do not do it justice.
My favorite part is the outdoor space. We had nightly gatherings around the fire pit enjoying the serenity, view and the stars. We were also able to fish off the rocks in the ocean behind the backyard.
The kitchen was the most stocked that I have ever experienced at a rental property.
The property manager was an absolute delight to deal with. And very easy to get a hold of.
We had 20 people staying with us and never once did it feel overcrowded or like we were on top of each other. We had plenty of space to spread out.
If you get a chance, you absolutely must take advantage of the private chef. Devon was friendly, professional, easy to work with, and most importantly fed us an amazing dinner.
If I ever come back to Maine, I am 100% staying at this house again. And I highly recommend it to anybody.

Thank you for the wonderful review Christina! So glad you got to experience Daron’s amazing cooking, he is the best! Your family is welcome back anytime!
Fans and hair dryers were available along with spices, coffee, tea, and numerous kitchen items. So great! But…. We brought them from home unnecessarily. A couple criticisms- The kitchen cookware was poorly maintained, had hit spots and rounded bottoms- difficult to cook with. Cast iron pans would be a great addition! The fridge needs an ice maker. Knives were very dull- all of them. The compactor and light switches should be labeled for easier use. Living room was rearranged by our group for better seating near the fire.
The house was immaculate! It was amazing! The property manager was very responsible and responsive! We loved it!
Every year we find a place for our family to spend a long weekend together. This home did not disappoint. The views from every living space and the bedrooms were gorgeous. The house is quite spacious so we could spread out when needed. We loved sitting outside on the adirondacks and watch the boats chug by.
There are 5 bedrooms. All but one has a private bathroom.
The 5th Bedroom is on the 1st floor next to a massive ensuite primary room. Perfect for children. There is yet another huge suite on the 2nd floor with a huge jacuzzi tub. Plan on bringing a sleep mask as the sun rises at 5 am and while the blinds provide privacy, it did not hold the sun back!!
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and we loved taking our meals on the screened in porch. Thank you for helping us make such lovely memories!! Also, make sure you watch for the fox that lives in the woods on the property. So pretty!
Our entire family of 22 people enjoyed our one week stay in the beautiful house on Jordan Harbor Road. The views were absolutely stupendous and the weather was fabulous! The house has no AC but also doesn't need any. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking implements, pots, pans, pie plates, griddle, glassware, cups, silverware, crock pot, lobster pots, tea kettle,,,you name it, it was there. The house was the best stocked with paper products and soap products of any home we have ever rented. And we've rented many homes around the country. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of wood for the firepit which we used every night. We enjoyed seeing bald eagles, seals, and deer almost daily. The only small issue we encountered was the queen bedroom on the main floor had no windows to open and no screens on the doors which did open, so the room wasn't as comfortable temperature wise as the rest of the house. There were a couple of fans available which helped the situation. Debra Pike was so very easy to work with and did everything she could to accommodate our family and we appreciated her help very much. We loved our stay in Winter Harbor and would visit again in a heartbeat! We also highly recommend taking a whale watching tour out of Bar Harbor. We saw 6 humpback whales, 1 minke whale, and 1 shark. Fantastic trip! This was a beautiful place to get to share time together as a family and celebrate Nana's 70th birthday! Hope to come back one day.
