About this property

Beautiful, well maintained and equipped oceanfront duplex (west side not the entire house) perfect for family vacations.

Views – high ceilings on first floor provide light and panoramic beach and ocean views, second deck off of oceanfront bedrooms. Relax on the main deck in rockers and picnic table. Dune deck provides a wonderful spot for sunrise and sunset viewing. Vacant lot to the west provides 230 degree views of the beach and ocean.
Child friendly – equipped with high chair, crib, booster chair, gates and pack & play. gates on each end of the deck provide some security for pets. Second floor bedroom offers bunk beds & futon – plus TV.
Entertainment – large flat screen HD smart TV in family room equipped with Blueray DVR, , TVs in all bedrooms. Cable TV with recorder ~ record on 1 receiver and watch on all. Card table and chairs, plus DVDs, Books & Games. Two adult bikes are available for your use. Two recliners in living room. Large Dining Room table able to seat 8-10.

Communications – high speed wireless WiFi, two telephones one with answering machine. Unlimited long distance.

Beach – medium depth beach just a few steps from the deck, plenty of room to spread out. Beach chairs & sand toys stored in Guest Closet underneath house. Private outside hot and cold water shower and hose to rinse off.

Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Modern Cabinets and granite counter tops. Weber Gas grill underneath house.

Additional appliances - we try to make sure everything you will need is available. Appliances include: air fryer, coffee maker, single cup Keurik coffee maker, ice tea maker, tea pot, deep fryer, slow cooker, toaster oven, iron and ironing board. Hair dryers in all bathrooms. Suggestions for additional items welcome.

Great location – a favorite spot for surf fishermen, walking distance to convenience store with gas, grill, beverages and food. Dollar General within walking distance.

Clean House - We have a very thorough, well trained cleaning crew. Most weeks we will inspect the house to be sure everything is100% before your arrival. You can check-in by 3 and do not have to depart until 10.

Bike Path - now complete all the way to Coast Guard Rd

Maximum 2 dogs welcome with a $150 non-refundable pet fee.

Local owner lives 15 minutes away, ready to meet your needs.

The is a house for families - minimum age to rent 23. Due to septic system the MAXIMUM is 10 people, we usually do not rent to parties larger than that. Ideal max is 6 adults and 4 children. If all adults the max capacity is 8. The second floor street side bedroom is equipped for children with bunk beds and a double futon.

No hidden fees - linens and housekeeping included.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY IS 10 PEOPLE, THIS IS ALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM WILL SUPPORT

Just wish there were screens in the windows & sliders!

Great place! Unfortunately there is no shade area on the deck and no screens in the windows or sliders.

Fabulous

Great location oceanfront and close to a public dock on the sound (to paddle board), fantastic views, comfortable well-appointed house, and welcoming host. We enjoyed morning coffee and dinner on the deck. We love Emerald Isle and now have a favorite house. We can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Perfect location!

We loved the location of this house. Oceanfront, gorgeous views, somewhat private beach and not crowded at all anywhere along our beach. Close to several restaurants, mini- golf, aquarium, lots of hiking! Overall, for the price and location, we would absolutely go back!

We retired to the Crystal Coast (AKA Paradise) eighteen years ago and have found true beauty and relaxation. We enjoy all of the benefits of living here - golf, boating, fishing, beach walking, and just sitting on the deck drinking wine. The problem with living here we miss that wonderful feeling of driving across the Emerald Isle bridge at the start of the vacation.

Why they chose this property

We previously vacationed in Nags Head and decided to try the Crystal Coast after receiving an ad describing a bird and turtle sanctuary. We fell in love with Emerald Isle the first time we drove across the Emerald Isle Bridge and felt the stress of DC leaving us. We bought Ocean Villas the second year and have never regretted it. It is now a relaxation haven for our kids and grandkids.
