Family vacation
Got to condo at 2:30pm. The HOA (VRBO) was closed with a sign on the door saying closed until 3:20pm. I could see someone inside but they did not acknowledge me. Therefore, I could not check-in. So, I killed some time and went back around 4:00. Nothing special about the check-in. The attendant didn't make me feel welcomed. She was very stoic and robotic. Using such statements as: sign here, take a picture of the sign, how many armbands did I need. She made zero small talk or offer any information other than what was absolutely necessary. So, may first impression was not favorable. The fitness center was closed with no proposed reopening date. I was told by the security guard it had mold inside.
On the bright side, the condo was clean, perfect location, beach and weather was good.
With a welcoming attendant at the HOA, it would have been better. I went inside the Vacassa area and she was nice and helped as much as she could.
Security was very tight at the property. They were checking armbands, making sure towels were not hanging over the balconys and closing the pool area right at 10:00 each night (not sure that is a pro or con), keeping drinks away from the pool and hot tub area.
