Cozy, Historical Cottage on The Appalachian Trail

An 18th-century cottage nestled along side the Appalachian Trail Barkstone sits at the foot of Miller Hill. There are beautiful views of the valley to the front and woods to the back. Just off of the Taconic Parkway, it's a 90 min drive or train ride from NYC. The Appalachian trail boarders the property and other trails are a short drive away. Beacon and Storm King are nearby with all of their charm, culture and food. Barkstone is cozy, calm and the perfect getaway for small groups or a family.

Barkstone
Barkstone was a pleasant stay. The stairs were a surprise. A bit difficult for my friend with a hip problem, she had to be very careful. It is a 3 story building.
