Beautiful cabin for our family getaway

In the words of my family, this was a "beautiful, relaxing, fun, hilltop cabin!" It was truly a great experience and we are all very picky about lodging. Lots of wonderful hospitality upon entering and the cabin invites family time in so many ways...board games, puzzles, porch games, paints for rock painting, loft with activities, saucer swing, hot tub, fire pit and deck with large table for our family meals. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, utensils and supplies beyond just the basics and we made and ate every meal here. The cabin was very clean and the beds were so comfy. Beautiful views from the front porch and back deck. Location was so close to Mohican State Park it was just a quick drive to do hikes, sightsee and also close to Perrysville. Would recommend 4x4 for the later park of getting up to the cabin drive. We have already talked about book here again in the future. Owners did a great job making it easy to relax into this space by thinking of all the little things that make a big difference.

Eclipse Trip

I must say that the property owners/hosts set the bar so high as hosts that we are doubtful any other could top them. This cabin had every single thing you could want in a vacation home. The welcome present was something we’ve never gotten at another vacation home, and was amazing. We were happily surprised that they supplied everything from coffee to a plethora of fluffy towels. The cabin was very nicely appointed, great beds and bedding, comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture and the hot tub was great. If we ever were to find ourselves coming back to the area, booking this cabin would be top priority. I must say we are greatly appreciative of the effort the hosts made that made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay here. Thanks again.

Cozy Winter Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our kids before Christmas. The cabin was so cozy! The hosts thought of everything. We had a great time playing games, watching movies, baking holiday cookies and enjoying the hot tub. We are looking forward to staying again!

Clean, cozy cabin and courteous hosts

Stayed for a weekend along with five other guests and had a great time. Cabin was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as advertised. Hosts were very communicative and provided all the necessary details. Short drive to Mohican State Park. Driveway access to cabin is steep, so plan accordingly if weather or vehicle reliability is a concern!

Whether it's a long awaited girlfriend trip, couple trip, or a family getaway, making your trip memorable is at the heart of what I love to do!

Why they chose this property

Camp Hall-O-Way is such a special place. We originally purchased the property years ago to provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life for our family. A chance to reconnect with nature and with each other. It is less than 2 hours from both Columbus and Cleveland and under 3 hours from Pittsburgh. We wanted to make memories with our friends and kids and over the years we did just that. We tubed the river, boated on the lake, shopped and shopped in Amish country and told stories around the campfire. Both our family and friends have loved our years of coming to the cabin. Now our children have grown, and it is our privilege to allow others to experience the same joy and connection with their friends and family when they visit the cabin just like we did some years ago. This is the magic of Camp Hall-O-Way.
