Diamond on the Beach

If you are looking to relax and enjoy the beach this is your place. My husband and I loved this charming beachhouse. Very clean, well laid out, one floor was a plus. Close to restaurants and grocery. We will be back very soon! Thank you for having us!

Perfect Beach House for a Private Stay

We absolutely loved staying at the Sea Star property. The communication for our check in and departure was so convenient and easy. We loved the comfortable furnishings and the well equipped linens, beach towels, and beach toys. The Sea Star is definitely a cozy place with lots of room and charm. We spent the majority of our time on the ocean front deck, where you will probably too. The kitchen and appliances were in great shape with a well stocked stash of cookware and tools to make eating in a breeze. And, we went to a few of the close by water front restaurants like Cap's on the Water and Aunt Kate's seafood (both were definite must tries) The house is an older one and has been renovated with modern furnishings and attention to detail for decoration and wall art. We thought it was a very nice touch. There are 2 master bedrooms on opposite ends and another bedroom with bunks, and a small study/media room. Plenty of room for a family to stay. The bathrooms may need a little upgrading for tub/showers as the older tub is quite slippery, so use caution. One hall bath has an older toilet that may need an upgrade soon, but the main 2 bathrooms are fine. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend you staying there. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great stay! Beautiful home! Little bit of touch up paint needed on the exterior but this was a wonderful home to have a getaway in!

Beachfront

This house is RIGHT ON THE BEACH!! Access right down the steps. The house was nice. We appreciated the big dining room table so we could all sit around to eat and laugh. The house is little dated but certainly adequate for a long weekend! The location is right off the road so be careful not to miss the signature Blue wall!!

Wonderful beach getaway!

We loved this property so much, we plan to rent it again for some sister/family time next summer. It was such a relaxing place to wind down after traveling and to reconnect with family. There was plenty of space, and we had everything we needed, including wifi for the kiddos. The owners were so wonderful aboit communication and provided a full guide with useful information ahead of our check-in, which I deeply appreciated. Highly recommended!

Why they chose this property

Awesome beach, take a morning stroll to look for sharks teeth or beautiful shells when the sun is just starting to rise. Enjoy some time on the wrap around porch with plenty of seating to dine or just relax and read a bit. Mid day swim in the ocean then maybe a nap! Great places to visit 15 min north or south. Love the Guana only 1 mile from the house where you can hike or rent kayaks. So much to do, but most importantly relax and enjoy your time.
