Welcome to Lazy Bear!

This private wooded setting property is perfect for your family and friends,
Enjoy the hot tub, relax in the den and enjoy the outside deck.Bring your bikes and gear and store them in the secure garage, while still enjoying all that Asheville has to offer as less than 20 minutes away!

Our home features an open floor plan and vaulted ceiling where you can cook, relax and enjoy some time with family and friends. The living room has lots of comfy seating a large TV. There is a bedroom on the main level that features a queen bed. Four upstairs bedrooms include a master suite with king bed and private bath. There are three guest bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen bed.

Local Attractions:
Turgua Brewing and Whistle Hop Brewing are with in couple of miles.
Very close to Hickory Nut Gap Farm and Bearwallow Mountain.
Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 10 minutes away.
Asheville downtown and the Biltmore Estate are about 15 minutes drive.
Airport is less than 20 minutes.

We had a great time in Fairview and the location was excellent for seeing all area had to offer. Pros- most comfortable beds, lots of bedrooms, nice porch, quiet areaCons- few issues with upkeep- bar on hot tub broken so made lid difficult, bathroom toilet handle in master cracked, handle in lower bathroom shower difficult to turn. These were minor and we easily worked around. Biggest con was driveway. Thank god for 4 -wheel drive- the driveway had large holes and dips that a car was not going to make it up

We enjoyed this house with our large family. The ping-pong and firepit were used every day. The space was ample for everyone to stretch out. We were disappointed with the cleanliness (bed linens had to be rewashed upon our arrival and clothes were left soaking in the laundry room sink), but the owner was responsive to these issues. Overall, we had a positive experience.

It was a rainy weekend so we decided to only hike one day. We had such a great time hanging around the house, playing games and catching up that the weather did not bother us! The hot tub and fire pit made enjoying the outdoors special. The house was spacious and the rooms were really comfy. The please felt remote, but still convenient to the city and airport. We would definitely recommend anyone to enjoy a stay here!

We loved our stay here! The host was very helpful and communicative in advance to ensure we had all the information we needed to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable, the entire house was tidy and clean, and the gameroom was a nice way to keep kids (and adults) occupied.

The location was close to all conveniences: grocery stores,clothes shopping and local arts and crafts. The game room and the Jacuzzi was so entertaining for my family. We rented the house for a wedding we were attending locally and it was a perfect place to come back and relax and be together as a family before during and after the wedding. I would definitely stay there again.

Weekend stay

Perfect birthday retreat

We had an amazing time at this home! The kitchen was excellent for our group of 8 to cook a big dinner and just hang out in. We spent very night enjoying the hot tub. It was a short drive to downtown Asheville. All of us thought it would be an adorable place in winter too!

Memorial Day weekend

Great Property

Our stay was great! We were able to get in earlier than expected! And everything was very clean! We had issues getting Ubers and the driveway was a little steeper than expected but overall we had a great trip and the home was perfect for our group!

Bachelor Party in Fairview!

This was a great house for a group of friends! Plenty of room and beds. The hot tub and games in the garage were a great touch. Short drive to Asheville, we had no issues securing ubers or Lyfts. Definitely would recommend this to others visiting the area.

Family Reunion

This is a great house! We enjoyed our stay there, the hot tub and game room were an added plus. Will say the road getting there is a little rough, but you are in the mountains. With a crowd, having the large kitchen and living areas is a plus. We also enjoyed the porch and Asheville’s great weather. Perfect for a large family.
