Location was great - that is my positive.This is an older building with quick upgrades. There are other places, in this price range, in the area, with up-to-date and safer upgrades. I have stayed in them.That said, there are supposed to be 2 emergency exits; this is a second floor dwelling. One was blocked off with an orange cone and chain, the rail was held together with duck tape and the concrete was seperating on the steps, so the second exit was not usable leaving one exit for 8 people. The other entry stairwell is incredibly rickety and steep. Bringing up luggage was nerve wracking and we did not even consider bringing up our large cooler. There is a tiny step I almost wiped out on stepping into the entrance.One window leaked water during a rainstorm unto my belongings. The window was locked. It's obvious it's happened for some time since the floor is warped in that area. This is on a wall with electrical outlets.We also were not told there would be remodeling downstairs prior to the stay, so when our whole unit was overtaken by loud sawing and the floor vibrated we were shocked. The property manager was not helpful.

This review was written as a retaliation for not feeding into the guest bad behavior. This guest barged into a neighboring condo and yelled at a property manager that was doing a 15 min door repair, well outside of quiet hours. The guest should have messaged me and not taken it upon themselves to aggressively barge into a condo that they had no right being in. Once I heard about the situation (5 mins later) from my neighbor that witnessed the husband of the renter, yelling and berating the property manager- I messaged the guest immediately and did not point fingers and politely diffused it. In hindsight, I should have been more firm with them about their wrong doings. Repairs are needed, and I guarantee if their door came off the hinges they would have demanded I fix it immediately. Apparently, they wanted me to fire a helper that did nothing wrong. I did call Vrbo that same day to report the incident and made sure it was documented. So they waited days after they checked out to ask Vrbo for a full refund which was denied because they never reported any of the issues mentioned in the review. I have messages proving I checked in multiple times, and got responses like “hi Lisa it is going well thank you!,” and “great, no issues, thanks.” So with that being said, it is surprising to see that they barely talked about the 15 mins of noise they heard at 1030 am (quiet hours are 11p-7a), which was so upsetting to them in the moment, and instead talked concerns that were never even mentioned during their stay. If you have real safety concerns- you would not wait until a week after check out to demand a full refund and write a false review. We have 2 working exits, and windows that work- and don’t leak. They also violated house rules and hid a dog during their stay so they didn’t have to pay the pet fee- we knew about it the first day and never asked for the pet fee or said anything to them. We have never received a bad review on any of our rental platforms and are often praised for how well the host communicates, and how beautiful the condo is. One bad renter will not take up any more of our energy! As hosts, we cannot let one bad apple, ruin years of great reviews. We love our repeat renters and new guests but these guests are never welcome back.

Lovely Spot

Great rental, with everything we needed, easy access to beach and Salisbury is a lovely beach. They made sure we had everything we needed. Checkout and checkin were super simple.

Rental for a wedding in Salisbury Beach

Top floor with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Nicely appointed and easy access to beaches and local attractions. Road noise occasionally a problem during the daylight hours... understandably. Host was responsive and helpful.

Nice stay & great location

Nice condo, fully equipped, the location is perfect to go to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the restaurants. We were 8 and the condos was perfect for us. The host Lisa gave us all the infos needed and let us arrived early on our first day. I recommended!

Salisbury Beach Vacation

Great location! Beach and boardwalk area in walking distance. The place is much larger in person and fully stocked with all your needs. Very clean! Easy contact with renter. Definitely worth booking.

Girls trip to Salem

What a cute place to stay in a quiet area close to the beach! About 35 minutes to Salem. The place was just what we expected. Clean neat and comfortable.

Great place

We had an excellent time at this place. The access to the beach was super close. The center was a short 5 min walk, which we had enjoyed doing nightly with our pup. The house was very clean, beautiful beach vibes for decor and quite spacious. The open floor concept made it easy to have family over for a nice dinner. I would highly recommend this house!
