The cabin features three generously-sized bedrooms that share two full bathrooms. Beautiful property in a stunning location, central to everything. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. Our favorite feature was the black out curtains, we haven’t slept in that late in a long time! The cabin and view is beautiful. My family loved everything about it & we would absolutely stay here again. The pictures are 100% accurate and the host is very responsive. The check-in/check-out process is super simple… which after a ten hour drive was definitely appreciated. And the master bed is SOOOOOOO COMFORTABLE!!! The house and kitchen had everything needed for a 5-star stay. Any item I needed for cooking was in the kitchen. The owner had thoughtfully equipped it. The very clean home fit our needs perfectly; the large primary bedroom and bath and closet as well as a guest room and bath worked for us. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and the view of the mountain from the covered patio. It was located well for what we enjoyed this trip - wandering from town to town on mountain roads and boating on Fontana Lake. The owner has done a superb job of preparing the home for guests!

Amazing cabin and views

This cabin was an amazing fanily getaway. Everything at the cabin was clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. From a fire witb a click of a button to a hot jacuzzi witb a click of a button to a fully stocked kirchen for cooking it was perfect. Sittinf outside and staring into the valley with smoky mountains was ana amazing peaceful getaway id recommend to anyone looking for a woodys vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at Nanta-Haven more than we’ve enjoyed any other cabin! Everything is beautifully decorated, the views are amazing and everything was so clean… I love the seclusion that you get at this location. Our corgi really enjoyed himself as well. Peaceful Retreat in a Beautiful Home

This was an amazing vacation. The home was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. It provided the perfect opportunity to unplug and truly focus on what matters most.The location was wonderfully secluded—we never heard a neighbor, which made the experience feel even more peaceful and private. Perfect Getaway

Nanta Haven was just what we needed. Overall the cabin and property were 5 star and all was exactly as advertised. Beautiful views! Loaded with amenities. Property was fully functional and very clean. The only consideration is that with those beautiful views comes a steep, windy and very narrow road to the cabin but there are ample wide outs on the way. Would highly recommend the property and the managers!!

This home is in a secluded, gorgeous mountain location.. no visible neighbors anywhere.. perfect! When you pull up, it's gorgeous.. then you go inside ( easiest access I've ever had on VRBO) and realize it's more beautiful than the outside! The furnishings, the decor, the AMAZINGLY FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN (won over my SIL and daughter who LIVE to cook) and the attention to EVERY detail.. OUTSTANDING!! The hosts were informative (loved the digital guide book) and truly caring about their guests having the best stay possible. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nanta Haven to friends, family, anyone looking for a place that feels like home in EVERY way. Thank you!!

Paradise with no interruption!

Nantahaven was amazing! Picturesque, delightfully remote. The views were breathtaking, the hot tub was serenely soothing! I might only make it a 4.9 stars for two things, the wifi wasnt strong due to being remote (so not entirely surprising) and the mosquitoes were relentless. Not problems with the property per se, just things for visitors to be aware of.

My 91 year old mama, my dog and I recently spent 5 nights here and I can't wait to visit again.. the house itself is so welcoming and on the top of the mountain... the moon.. oh the moon... and we experienced a spectacular sunrise as well... the house is so clean and well equipped.. you have everything you need at your fingertips... games, books, magazines and the coziest living room!! The fireplace was super easy.... we watched The Mask on the huge big screen.. my mom had never seen it...i enjoyed the jacuzzi several times... the outside firepit was maybe our favorite.. we laughed and ate smores... everything super clean and so very easy..... if you need to really relax and if you love excellent customer service this place is for you. I have been in hotel industry for 40 years. This place gets it right! Well done.

Very nice and very clean. Beautiful view and very private. It's more of a lodge than a cabin. Make sure your transmission fluid is topped off as it is an uphill climb to get there. My little thunderbird was panting by the time we got to the top.

Family spring break vacation

We arrived pretty late in the evening after a long drive from Florida and couldn’t fully appreciate the view until the next morning. The view is simply spectacular! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the mountains. We had an issue with an appliance and the owners went above and beyond to make it right! This is how you own and manage vacation rentals! You cannot go wrong with this rental. We will definitely book it again for our next visit to the smokies!! 10 stars!!

Why they chose this property

We love all things outdoors so were specifically looking for a mountain property located close to the Nantahala Outdoor Center and the Tuckaseegee River, where there was an abundance of outdoor activities year-round. Bryson City was an obvious choice for these reasons. Nanta-Haven is located in the gated neighborhood of Fontana View, just 10 minutes from downtown Bryson City, Lake Fontana, and the Nantahala Outdoor Center. This neighborhood has paved, winding roads that climb the mountain. Lake Fontana can be seen from the upper roads towards the top of the mountain. The climb to the top of the neighborhood is an adventure itself; with curvy winding roads and ridge lines, the views are stunning.

What makes this property unique

Guests have access to the entire home and garage, which is situated atop a mountain on 2.5 acres of land. With this much land, guests get the unique experience of epic mountain views while having complete privacy from the surrounding trees. The covered back patio enables guests to enjoy the private hot tub and outdoor wood-burning fireplace no matter the weather. There is ample parking space for 8 vehicles. We value health and wellness so wanted to offer our guests the unique the option to add on yoga sessions to their stay. We are yoga-certified and have been trained to teach both in-person and virtually across Zoom. This allows us to offer our guests discounted virtual yoga sessions, either during their stay or after they have checked-out. Yoga mats, blocks, and blankets are provided at each location for guest use during their stay.
