College Station is home to this holiday home. Texas A&M Bonfire Memorial and Albritton Bell Tower are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cinemark College Station and The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Kyle Field or Reed Arena.
Safe, quiet neighborhood, comfortable seating areas, responsive host; found take out food in a container in the fridge, cookie crumbs with ants on the bedside table in the middle bedroom, layers of dust on the ceiling fans.
Perfect place to stay! We were in town due to my husband playing in the Aggies Legends Game and it accommodated our family well! Would stay again, the kids loved it just as much as us adults!
Nice, quiet location, great decorations, fun Texas theme. Host was responsive and helpful. Mattresses and pillows need replacing and carpets and baseboards needs cleaning.
I booked this for my family to stay for my daughter’s engagement. It was just what we needed. Also, my granddaughter left her teddy bear and Melody was easy to work with to get it back. I would stay here again.
Just stayed for a night over a baseball game weekend. Great townhome community, never heard a peep from the neighboring townhome. Convenient parking right at the front door, about 6-7 minutes to get to campus with normal traffic. Clean and comfortable!
We were able to locate and get into the property right away! One of the showers were difficult to operate (tub faucet wouldn't lower to fill tub and hot water wasn't working properly) but overall the stay was very inviting and great!
We celebrated my son’s birthday in College Station and had the pleasure of staying here at Casa de Dixie. It’s the perfect size for 8 of us that stayed, this included 2 teenage boys that slept on the couch. The only thing I’d recommend if you stay and plan to cook any meals there: bring your own basic spices (including salt and pepper), bring your own kitchen utensils (there were very few), and bring along garbage bags. Great location and clean otherwise. It was perfect for what we needed.
The property is in a safe convenient area with ample parking. We had a problem with the a/c upon check in and the fridge was off. Within 75 minutes, maintenance was on the phone and had it fixed within 4 hours, so we felt taken care of. If you are looking for a place to lay your head this place would be fine, but if you are looking for comfort and cleanliness there could be some improvements. Sheets were not on one bed all the way, sheets were on sideways and had pilling and holes in them on King bed, no hand soap in some baths and no toiletries provided. The ceiling fans had 1/4 inch of dust on the blades and filters need to be changed. Very minimal kitchen items. No 9x13 pan, no pod coffee maker and no crock pot. There was 1 knife and no utensils to cook, so had to go buy them. Dishes in the cabinet were oily and the coffee mugs were dirty. Backyard gate broke. Bath non slip mat and shower liner were black.
